Club activities and Lab classes and engagement of students in co curriullam activities
Active class are held in my department .
Hostels are the place where we explore different other tribes

The infrastructure of the college is not so good
The roads have potholes, No proper gate of the college
The college is of open campus. Many peopels live here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The department helps me a lot in improving myself. They also provide classes like Universal Health and values which is very important in our life. Extra classes like Constitution of India is also being taught

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 35860 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The hostel fee is 15000 per year and for the mess it is 2500 per month. And the admission fees is 18000min for one semester(odd). Scholarship like poor fund scholarship is available through our college. And we can also apply for NSP scholarship.

Campus Life

The main event of our college is pyrokinesis which is held in the month of February for 4-5days. Then we have an event called spondon which is for the students talented in dancing. Then we also have cultural week and sports week.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are not that good. The mess food are up to the mark. There are room of three and two seaters for the seniors. And for the first year students dorms are provided. We have attached cupboard and we also get table chair and bed.

Hostel Fee: INR 26000 per year

Admission

I applied for the state examination through which we can take admission. Our college is one of the top colleges from Assam. It is the first Engineering College in Assam. And also the placement package are up to the mark

As I am from the Electrical Engineering Department so I am more familiar with them. In terms of classes they are very punctual and the labs classes are held regularly. The examination process is also very smooth.

Placement Experience:

The college placement aren't much in our college because our college is too deep inside the area it's like a village area companies find it difficult to come here. Companies mostly come for chemical and mechanical engineering students to hire them. For electrical and civil you have to apply off campus. I don't know the highest package from our college but the recent package that was offered by mahindra to mechanical engineering students was 19000 per month. Atleast 35% students get on campus placement. My plan after degree is to pursue mtech or maybe BFA in Seoul, South Korea or maybe find a job outside india

Placement Experience:

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is btech and since it is an IIT the faculty are the best in their fields profs here have done PhD from Stanfords of the world and the prof-student ratio is very healthy. Although there are a lot of exams in the ballpark weekly one or the other exam will be there and the exams are very tough but grading is relative.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for internship placement in the 5th semester and for the full time, you're eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. 223 offers were made for 22 pass out students. Some of the companies that visited our campus are Amazon Deloitte ZS Associates Tekion Mindtickle Gamescraft. The highest package was 61.5 lakhs and the average package was 15.34 lakhs. 95.12 per cent of students got placed. My plan after college is to work as a software developer.

My college experience

Admission is based on the scores obtained. admission using their JEE scores, entering through the CSAP round and JoSAA counseling. The college provides category-based benefits for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates. The cutoff marks for the college typically range from 120 to 130 out of 480. Only the top-performing students in the entrance exam are admitted to the college. I was not able to crack jee exam due to my category i got around 91.7 percentile which clears the cutt off marks but i will not be albe to take admission on my desire branch so i didn't took admission on NIT....Read More
