There are perticular class rooms for lab,works shop, machine rooms.
Every lab have sufficient instruments for labs in physics chemistry and others labs.
We have best lecture in every department.

Dislikes

There is no hostel facilities for students.
There is no proper room in our college for program.
Don't well and good class rooms in our college.

From childhood I was eager about to study engineering and I love generators, engine very much and that forced me to choose this course.This course we can get jobs easily that is the good thing about the course.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 1350 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to paid 850 rupees for 1 years and have to paid 250 for each two semesters in one year. This fees included library book facilities, annual program etc.There is a special discount for SCST students. Financial assistance is also provided to poor students.

Campus Life

There are many more small festival like Teachers' day, Viswakarma pujo, Saraswati Puja etc. but two main festival are "Metamorphosis" is annual fest in our college.There a main magazine published in the birthday of Acharyya Prafulla Chandra Roy and departmental magazine published in different times for each.

Admission

I choose this college because this is the no one polytechnic college all over West Bengal and facilities and others infrastructure are best among others.When I appeared in this college there was a ability test but from this year admission process is based on the 10th standard marks.

Faculty

All teachers are good and gives their best to teach us.If we have any doubt they clear them again and again.The best thing is that they cover all the syllabus before time.There is a very low chance of fail in exam because facilities explain the questions for the exams many times.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

APC in my view

It is basically a technical course. To get admission in this cource you have to appear in a entrance exam call JEXPO. After 10th you are eligible for this exam and the application fees is 500 rupees . Syllabus is normal 10th class mathematics, physics and chemistry.
