Likes
- The campus is lush green, with swimming pool ,gymnasium , outdoor stadium, etc. Also it boasts of a vast expanse with an in-campus Dominoz food joint stall. Also the campus is fully secure and a great attention is devoted to the student safety.
- Anti- ragging policy is a good move to protect freshers. Also the campus is smoke free and drug free.
- The boy- girl interaction is strictly monitored but at the same time they give immense opportunities to grow in a coed education ecosystem.
Dislikes
- Too much strictness regarding the on-time for hostels , especially for girls. Freshers are not even permitted to leave for the first three months. This is at times a curb on the independence of a student.
- The institute should allow Arrear exams for Students which makes them save their time from studying the whole course again from the scratch.
- The institute should also allow male students to roam about within the men's hostel wing after dinner.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is up to date . They formulate it keeping in mind current industry practices. They don't miss out on any point. They make us master whatever we choose. We even are equipped with latest lab tools and softwares to make ourselves leaders.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee per year ranges from lowest being 2 Lakh to maximum being 6 lakh being divided into 5 categories. The fees includes tuition fee,including a caution deposit of 15,000 INR for Indian students and a different fee structure for NRI students. Again we have a plethora of options to choose from the range of hostel accomodations VIT offers. They range from a minimum of 1 lakh to maximum of 2.5 lakh rupees for the Indian students while different fee structure for NRI students. The fee for mess is included with again choice of mess from three varieties Veg, Non Veg and Special. The fee for gymnasium, swimming and other sports activities is charged seperately.
Campus Life
Club and chapters focus mainly upon the skill set development of a student. also they provide plenty of opportunities to expand connections , also to make them more confident self reliant and smart and ready for the industry. These clubs consist of various technical and non technical activities being heavily focused upon like web development, app development , robotics, music, dance etc.
Admission
This is the best private college in India. It boasts of a high NIRF ranking. It offers immense opportunities to grow industrially and otherwise. Also the campus life is a must to explore at VIT with numerous clubs and chapters. Also the placement rate is alluring and the packages that people secure make this college a worthy option amongst its rivals.
Faculty
The faculties are A- rated and a very polite in while doubt solving . They all are PHd holders. They are so clear in their conceptual knowledge that it hardly takes them any time to clarify the concept to students. VIT is known for its exam system which consists of 3 exams per semester including two minor 50 mark papers and 1 final assessment. Also there are internal quizes and assessments to be submitted. Marking is done on a fair and unbiased basis.
