Remarks

Our college is average, as I have studied there. It is very nice and I feel good after taking admission to this college. It allows an individual to explore its own merits and flaws.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The college is affiliated to MAKAUT, thus follows the prescribed course curriculum. Course curriculum created in well mannered but it has become quite old, though it's already changing from the 2018 batches. The course curriculum is made such that students who took admission here, can be nurtured to all-round development. Computer labs are all functional, other labs, such as a mechanical workshop, engineering drawing, are also very good. Sports culture also exists there, so a student can not only concern on the study but also to develop good health.

Placement Experience

3.5

Since our college is located in a remote area, no. of placements and internships are less when compared to the colleges in the main city. However, the students get proper opportunities for themselves, whether in the form of placement or internships.

College Events

3.5

Talking about the events, various annual events are celebrated here. Every year one tech fest is held in college, one event is held for the freshers' welcome, followed by an annual sports event and also the annual fest. Plenty of opportunities are present for recreational activities as well as honing one's professional and extracurricular skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is where the price of performance comes. Comparing to the other university fee structure, our university fee structure is nominal. In all four years of study, the total fee of the college is 3,16,000. So I can say for the students, who come from the middle-class background, can afford to take admission in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

My father is able to fund my 4 years of B.Tech, therefore, I have not experienced either of scholarship or educational loan. However, as per WB govt. regulations, TFW scheme is available for those who could not afford the fees.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life of the college of very nice and friendly. You can have a library to study, have a canteen to take tea, and open ground there, to roam on campus. Gender ratio can be said depending on the stream you opt, in CSE 60:40 is the ratio of boys to girls.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of the college is average to good. Alumni network consists of many students who are pursuing higher studies from premier institutes in India and abroad. Seniors of college are helpful, they provide the guideline to study well and gives advice in recruitment drives.

Admission

I have got the admission in the college through WBJEE entrance marks. I filled the counseling form. Out of the colleges I put in my list, I got this college, I may have also got some other good colleges. The college is near my residence compared to others, which was also a deciding factor. But after studying here for quite some time, I found that all happens for a good reason.

Faculty

4

Faculty of the college is very admirable and helpful. Always stands to support and help the student in studies as well as various related and unrelated problems. In the case, if any, of course, is not completed, faculty provide extra classes to the student, so the student can complete the course in time, and score well in the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum under MAKAUT is quite comprehensive, which is one of the reasons I choose this course. With making the foundation strong in first year with subjects like maths, physics, chemistry and then the core subjects in the later years. In terms of real life application, lab work, project work and projects make us ready for the industry. The syllabus is also alligned with the competitive exams like GATE.
