Remarks

Nothing as such. There are a few rooms for improvements that I just talked about.I hope they consider them.

Entrance Preview

I took Wbjee exam for entering into the course. My rank was 18537. Initially I opted for this college because it was near to my home and also I heard rave reviews about it. But when I entered it was a different scenario. It's a good college, well located, takes the minimum fees but I believe there is still need for improvement in facilities, labs and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is as per the norms of the university under which it comes.Its not designed well but the college has nothing to do with it.Faulty strength is bad but the ones are there are extremely good and try their level best.

Internships Opportunities

Their were only paid internships. As such no big company comes in the college for internships,but we had sessions from companies like Symantec.Also there were few startups were we had internships. But they were paid.

Placement Experience

Not even a single person is not placed after passing out of the college. But the college provides placement to only one company every year and that is Tech Mahindra.Rest all MNC placements are off campus. People passing out are placed in TCS,CTS,Infosys,Ericsson etc..

College Events

In terms of extra curricular no one can beat CIEM.It has a great soccer team,some good TT players. A few college bands which are extremely popular in the city. The cultural fest every year is humongous. Top k notch performances are seen.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its very affordable. Probably the cheapest in the state among all private engineering colleges, Though their was a recent hike when it became self financed from govt aided but that was marginal.

Fees and Financial Aid

In this part CIEM outshines every other college. It has both merit based and need based scholarships for students.

Campus Life

Campus life is just amazing. It has got 5.5 acres of lush green campus And students are given freedom to do everything they want in it.Labs are not so good,sports and competitions are held once a year during fest.

Hostel Facilities

Unfortunately college doesn't provide hostel facilities but there are messes available nearby and all are affordable and very good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

It has got a great alumni network. Once this college had produced superior quality students who are spread across the globe and working in prominent organizations.

Exam Structure

Exams are as per university norms, Divided into 8 semesters. marks of each paper comes from internals and the rest 70 is based on paper based exam.

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

In my college according to this year college placements went 82% . If you can't get campus placement , there is a high probability if you can apply for any job outside campus and you have relevant skills you can get it .
