Remarks
My overall experience has been very good in this campus till now and one beautiful about this college is that there exists a very strong unity among the students being a host elite its been an awesome journey till now.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam is totally based on makaut pattern. First of all, there is two internals of 30 marks each then there is practicals exam of 100 marks. After all these exam semester exams take place. The distribution of marks for internals is fully depended on the makaut rules.
Placement Experience
65% of the students received on-campus placements last year. The average pay package was around 3 lacs. Majority of the companies that came for campus drive were IT firms. Flipkart, Cognizant, Larsen & Toubro, Infosys, Capgemini are among the few companies which organize placement drives in our college.
College Events
There are plenty of events takes place in the college. First of all the freshers happens for the new students. Then there is cultural events as well as technical events in which all the departments take part. After that, it comes to sports fest in which all the departments take parts and there is also a gust team where teachers and the pass out students can take part. At last, we are celebrating the biggest event of our college the cultural fest which is known as Ullash.In between of these big events, we are celebrating some events like Saraswati Puja, Holi, Independent day, Viswakarma puja and republic day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Comparing to the other university fee structure, our university fee structure is nominal. In all four years of study, the total fee of the college is 3,43,000.so I can say for the students, who come from the middle-class background can afford to take admission in the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I personally have no scholarship. The college helps out in giving educational loan to the economically weak students.
Campus Life
Students are always kept busy with the academics, so they do not get much time anywhere else but there is a common room for indoor games like Table tennis and carrom and also we have football ground and badminton court for the students to play in their free classes. Cricket Football, Table Tennis, badminton, chess and carrom tournaments are organized every year.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very friendly and supportive. They help in all cases, such as for higher studies and all that. Alumni network is also good. Seniors interact with the juniors but ragging is strictly prohibited.
Admission
I got admission in this college on the basis of my WBJEE rank. I opted this college because have heard the placements of the college are nice for computer science students and huge chances to enhance the skills in IT field as I have my interest in IT industries.
Faculty
The faculty of my college are highly knowledgeable. They do have in-depth knowledge of the subjects they teach. Furthermore, they also hold long-term experience in the teaching profession thereby understand the issues students commonly face. They are quite supportive and helpful in the overall growth of the students
