Remarks

Overall this is a good college with great infrastructure and surroundings. It has both Outdoor and Indoor Sports Facilities. The Labs and workshops are well equipped helping the students to learn new things.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is from the MAKAUT university. The course structure is fine. And the exam structure is also very suitable for us. I am able to learn new programming languages every semester which will further help me a lot. There are also some subjects which help to learn about aspects of life.

Placement Experience

The placements of our college are also good. A lot of companies come for the placements. The most beneficial is for my department.

College Events

My college celebrates both Technical and Cultural fest every year for a couple of days. Some chief guests are also presented in the Technical fests and are presented in the local newspaper. Many festivals are also celebrated in the college campus by the hoteliers as well as some students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I am a Computer Science student and completed my 2nd year. My first-year fees were about Rs.52000 for the first semester(including security deposit),42000 for 2nd semester and Rs.2500 for bus fees(per month). Pretty much the overall fees are 4 lakhs for 8 semester

Fees and Financial Aid

I have taken a Student Educational Loan for 4 lakh to complete my B.Tech degree. I have taken the loan from Allahabad Bank.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is pretty good in my department(CSE) as compared to the other three(Mech, Civil, and ECE). A lot of workshops and seminars take place around the year in our college. The faculty is very friendly and not at all partial regarding gender or religion.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very good. Many alumni attend the technical and cultural fest every year. The seniors are also helpful.

Admission

I took Direct Admission in this college based on my High School mark sheet as well as JEE and WBJEE rank. I came to know about this college from a friend of a relative. I opt for this college because I was not having any other option. I did not get admission in any of the colleges in Kolkata through the entrance or any exam. This college has great infrastructure and faculty support.

Our faculty are very up-to-date with their subjects. Some faculty of my dept have done their doctorate and share their experiences. They are very good by nature and also have a soft corner for their students. Our college faculty tries to give their best to the students.

Placement Experience:

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from 7 and 8 semester also their are many placement on thee intern companies. thier are total of 50 t0 60 companies that visits year which leads to very good placement percentage, in mining its above 90 percent. companies which come are infosys, microsoft, google , coal india, tcs, pwc etc. the higest pacage was 39 lacs by coal india. as mentioned above the placement is very good and almost everybranch placement is between 79 to 95 percentage of student which are placed, their are many mass recruiter if you didnt get the best pacakge you still have the chance to get a good package from the mass recruiter. my plan after degree is to advance in computer science even if i dont have the branch but i have the passion to do coding and become a web developer also i will try to get some more degree like mba and mtech and i will also try if i get selection to study abroad.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
