Review of DTU ( Delhi technological University)

After clearing jee this doesn't feel much hard you just have to be consistent in studying while not studying 10-12 hr but only 1-2 hr after clg will be enough to score a good cg The frequency of exams might feel high The improvements could be getting a more new and modern teaching methods involved in specific courses

MoGreat opportunity you can get internship in DRDO from 1 year and clg provides with some internship also the teachers also help in getting internship with the huge network they have companies like American expressway also hires interns from this clg and many provide a proper PPO

For campus placement you have to be in 4th year with one internship experience The campus placement and percentage is good many companies like Microsoft etc visits DTU You can get placement in all three fields tech , non tech , core ws the variety of companies is very high About 75 percent students get placed in electrical branch the clg provides opportunities to join tech teams and enhance your skill in core side and hackathon to enhance your tech side so you can get placed easily My plans is to get a good placement after clg My plans

The year fees is variable but on average it's 2 lakh 40 thousand And clg has many scholarship options for obc,sc,st under 5lakh annual family income And some merit based scholarship are also available

It's amazing The frequency of fests are high like there are two main fests yuvaan and engifest which is considered the biggest north indian fest And many fests from diffrent society takes place which have a footfall of 10k-15k easily The infrastructure has a great library where you can find books from diffrent different topics and different field and many novels also The classrooms are modern classrooms and also proper lab with proper instruments Many societies are there in clg you can join according to your interest and they also go to diffrent clg for competition and organise fests And you can join tech teams which also compete on national level tournament

In engineering if we talk about the best clg we come at IITs but I wasn't able to crack jee advanced so after iits there comes NITs and DTU compares or better than many NITs and it's nearby my home and it is considered the second best engineering clg in Delhi after iit so rather than choosing NIT I went for DTU

The faculty members are not much strict it's like if you attend proper clases they themselves will support you There are mainly 2 exams mid sem and end sem And it's not much hard to pass the exams but now with change in policy no relative marking are there only absolute marking are there soo it's hard to get a 10 cgpa Some subjects are really boring and not usefull they are still in your course like basic civil engineering in electrical engineering but it will end after 1 semester
