- Campus is quite and my classmates (dual) are very helpful.
- Teachers are intelligent and have great knowledge
- Hostel rooms have vacancy of 2 per room which is quite good thing.
Dislikes
- Campus is far away from panvel situation in a village or forest type area
- No medical shops are available and also we face many problems
- Water shortage insects are there ACs and lifts rarely works
Course Curriculum Overview
As I'm pursuing btech in the first year I've phys maths and all and from second year we've main biotechnology subjects. Also experiments related to biotech starts from the second sem. I think it is good and helpful for us.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the first two semesters the fees was 93000 and its increases by 5000 per year that is in next 2 sem it will be 98000. Also I opted for hostel which has a fees of 80000 per year. Also I'm a candidate of general category so I don't have any reservations.
Campus Life
Campus is really small with rarely any facilities. No proper grocery or any shop. No medical shops. No qualified doctors. ACs don't work. Lifts also rarely work and travelling in really inconvenient. It is very far from the actual city
Hostel Facilities
Security is good. Rooms are clean. Only two students are kept in a room which gives us peace and also helps to maintain our mental peace but the hostel coordinators are not at all helpful they blame everything on students even if it is their fault they'll blame it on you.
Admission
The fees is high but if you want to study further after Masters also dual degree is the best option and also it is not available in all colleges. And the teachers here are all phD holders and most of them have patents of their name
Faculty
We have only mid sem and end sem examination. Teachers of subjects like maths physics arw really good they teach really well. Biotechnology faculty are very intelligent but they are mostly in their own research works.
