the real side of NIT

The course curriculum is well structured and it reduces most of our pressure. There are introduction of some new cource in the curriculum wich make us competent to the new generation. The frequency of the exam a pretty close .

There are many types of internship available through the college. But most of the internship starts after 5 th semester . There are scope of research in the college itself,you can contact with the associated professor for that.

The placement of the college are top notch with avg. Package of 15 lakhs and the top package is 1.2 cr. NIT has also a very great alumni network all across the globe being the top position of the top companies.

The yearly fees of NIT is comparatively lower then other private institutions. The total fees for btec 1 st year 222000 including hostel and mess ,which includes tution fee of 62500, caution fee of 10000.And for reserved category (SC/ST) 120000. Scholarship for SC /ST and students whose family income is less then 1 lpa gets full fee waiver for the tution fee ,and students whose family income is below 5 lakhs have to pay 1\3 of the total tution fee.

Our curriculum allow us to participate in various other activities for which our college organise 4 major fest in the college including tech fest innovation . And there are also many club where students and actively participate.

The hostel facilities are not as good as other colleges it need a lot more improvement are required. The mess food are also not upto the mark , the oil content is more in the mess food . And there is lack of options for food in the mess .

I applied in this college as it's one of the top engineering college in the nation . It's the top NIT of the nation with good placement and campus life . Wich allow us to participate in others field and explore more of ourself.

The faculties to students ratio is very good,most of the faculties are approachable and are well qualified . There are 2 important exam in one semester midsem and endsem and class test are organised inbetween the two exam.
