Likes

The campus is a great place to just wander around in our freetime.
The library is a great place to study peacefully.
The stadium is a great place to play outdoor and indoor sports like tt, cricket, football

Dislikes

I didn't really like my hostel room, it was too small for 2 people.
I didn't really like that the ac auditorium is small to host function
There is no swimming pool in the campus, that's not good.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are applications of physics which are taught to us in engineering physics. The application of electromagnetic fields is a core concept which is interesting and applicable to electrical engineering.

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total amount of fees taken is around 200000 (two lakhs) per annum. The fee for Economically weaker section is : 1. For under 100000 rupees family income, the fees waiver is 50000 rupees. 2. The tution fees for non general casts is exempted

Campus Life

The events held till now we're a lantern event, headed by the literary and debate club, the freshers event headed by the electrical engineering society. the friends I have made here seem good and helpfull

Admission

I applied for Nit Trichy, nit surathkal, nit Warangal, among these, nit Warangal had best placement statistics and was the oldest among them. Moreover, I was getting a good branch which I was interested in. That's why I chose warangal

Faculty

There are 6 courses in our first semester, each taught by a faculty, who teaches our section of 71 students. There are minor exams (10marks), assignments (10 marks), end semester exams(40m), mid semester exams (30m).

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer.This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more.The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.

Placement Experience:

In the information technology branch of vasavi college there is 100% placement record which means atleast each student got 3.5LPA pakage and the average pakage is 9 to 10 LPA companies like cisco, oracle, google, flipkart, Deloitte,wipro and 50+ more companies and also tcs comes every year to hire people and the highest pakage is 52LPA and overall percentage of placements is 90%

Placements at Vasavi College of Engineering start from 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture visit. Highest package is about 15–20 LPA, average 4–6 LPA. Around 70–80% students get placed. I plan to improve skills and get a good technical role after graduation.

My honest review

Placement Experience:

I am not sure about the answer to this question but I think students are officially eligible to sit in the campus placements from 7th semester. A student must have a minimum of 7.5CGPA to get a chance to access the placement rounds. Oracle, google, tata, Infosys, service now and a lot more companies visited our campus. Highest package is around 50LPA which is on campus. And off campus it's around 1cr. The aversge package depends on the branch. My branch's average package is around 8 to 9 LPA I guess. Almost 90 percent of the students get placed here in vasavi

My experience in NIT warangal
