Pros and cons of joining this college

Course curriculumn on paper is good but the implementation is too bad as the faculty are not qualified of what they are teaching so whatever may the course the students wont able to understand it . It include every single technology which is trending right now but we need to do the self study so that we can excel them. The teaching method and course curriculum will only effective when they are more qualified faculties and less faculty to student ration. The exams are conducted like a festival where every one will have exams on same month but they are conducted smoothly without any problems.

Placements have been hit in entire India even in IIT's so it have a effect on our placements too only one which is more qualified and good in socials and soft skills get placed in a company . From 6th semester students are eligible to sit in placements with a minimum cgpa 6.5 and recommended is 7.5 and above. highest package is in microsoft 51lpa average is 6lpa highest number of students placed in a company is accenture at 4.5lpa overall 2023-24 batch 43% students got an job offer till now . my plan if i not get placed first is to prepare for Gate PSu's or mtech along with that various government exams .

The tution fees is 101000 per year along with that we need to pay 20000 for first year and 10000 per year after that as a JNTUH fees and miscellaneous fees. Along with fees there is bus facilty which usually ranges from 33000 to 46000 depending upon distance and this facility is optional. There are other compulsory things to buy one is lab workbooks which costs 200 for 20 workbooks and lab coat for 300 . I have got full fee reimbursement as i studied in govt college and from economically backward class . there is also full fee reimbursement for sc/st irrespective of ranks and those who scored below 10000 rank The tution fee is fixed for 4 year tenure and will be increased in 2027

There are only one annual fest which is traditional day thats it. Consortium is also conducted but they are much limited to some students.The books in library is good and helpful.The classrooms are like congested with faulty ac's which make it worse in summers along with power cuts . There is one Tv thats it a faculty must teach it on it using ppt's or any other resource. Sports are just for namesake the sports week is conducted with limited teams and sports for one week . The clubs are more acive for example NSS group conducts more charitable things Ecell conducts events related to Entrepreneurship which have many startups running within college campus and some are even registered startup by Government which is nice however there is not much of infrastructure left with college.

I have got a rank of 11146 to which i got a seat in cse data science the last batch of placements were good but later i realised that this is not a good indicator to test the college . I couldnt qualified for advance because of lack of practice and less grip on basics . The admission process is simple there are two modes first is through state level exam TSEAMCET which i wrote if you get in to cutoff range then you will get a convener seat another entry is management seats or b category seats where you can get admission if you pay a hefty price to college you will get a seat reserved although after classes starts there is no difference between these two students everyone are treated same

The faculty to student ratio is worse in this college it is 1 faculty for 70-80 students which make faculty difficult to manage the class and they cant focus much on the acual content. there are some faculties which are good i dont want to name them and there so many bad faculties who dont even know the basic of what they are teaching basically the screening process of faculties is too weak anyone with a mtech degree can become a faculty in our college and if they become they will be assigned to those subjects which they are not even specialized .There are two internal examination 20 marks each and one internal lab exam of 10 marks we have currently 70:30 marks ratio of external:internal where 70 marks semester exam is conducted and 20 marks are from internal exam 10 are presentation and quiz types . however there are very less students who fail in exams as the level of paper is moderate and one should know how to present the answer if the length is good then it is easier to pass .
