- I loved the sports complex. Though it needed a few changes and a little more upgrade, it was the best place in the university
- Labs were well developed and the faculty was also very nice.
- Canteens were good. The only negative point was that they were quite far away my my department. To even buy a bottle of water, we would have to walk for 10 mins and canteens were overly crowded.
Dislikes
- Canteens were overly crowded. Few more canteens can be made to divide the rush.
- There are no benches or places we can sit and rest outside or inside the departments.
Course Curriculum Overview
Few aspects of the curriculum can be improved. The syllabus and lab work was very good and informative but the way of teaching could have been a little more better. Labs are well equiped. Semester exams difficulty level were also good enough to train a student intellectually.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees inceases by Rs.5000 every year. When i started B.Sc the fees was Rs.45,000 per semester for general catergory and 75,000 per semester in SFS category. The next year the fees incease to 50,000 and 80,000 per semester for new students. A security miney of 5,000 was taken at the time of admission which was refunded after graduation.
Campus Life
A college fest is held every year. Along with that individual department fests are also there. Sports and cultural week is conducted every year where students compete with other departments in many sports like cricket, badminton, basketball, volleyball, carrom board etc. There is also one college team for both boys and girls in most of the sports. There are many clubs like fashion club, art club, literature club etc.
Admission
I had applied to Jamia Millia Islamis for the same course but did not get selected, so i joined Jamia Hamdard. JMI had entrace exam and i was unable to clear it with, my rank was way too high to get admitted there. Eligibility criteria in JHU is based on 12th CBSE marks for this course.
Faculty
Initially when i joined the course, the student rush was very mininal since it was a new course. But as time passed on, students increased and we started having class shortage. Many times either our batch or our juniors would not get a classroom for classes. Faculty was good no doubt. Teachers are very good and knowledgeable.
