SMIT, great campus.

MBA course which is serves in SMIT is very practical and ultimately talks about the development of the business. Every modules in all the subjects ultimately talks about the growth and improvement of the business. This type of precise syllabus helps a lot to a student after the course completion. It prepares one for the real market and job.

Internship opportunities gives a large area to explore in SMIT. Sikkim is a home to many big companies thus internship becomes very interesting. Pharma companies, hydro companies, beverages, cosmetics company and many more. I did my internship in a bank covering many interesting topics.

Placements are good through SMIT. The last semester deals with the placements processes. Our campus has placed the student in company like "Google". Almost 70? of the students gets the placements. I have visited 2 big companies during my placement process.

Yearly fees - Rs. 1,20,000. Tuition fees paid quaterly was Rs. 30,000. Admission fee- Rs. 25,000 So total cost was Rs. 2,40,000+25000. I received the scholarship and government paid half of my tuition fee.

I enjoyed a lot in SMIT. Along with a precise and dedicated syllabus our campus believed in refreshments, sports and extra curricular activities. Keeping body fit along with mind is very important. We have an annual feat which is called "Kalrav", its basically a musical night program.

Hostel are pretty decent with all the basic facilities. Good bed, table and chair, wardrobe, table lighting, geezer for the shower. Each room in hostel has two beds. Very comfortable room for two person. I enoyed a lot staying. Good nourishing food, taste might vary for different people but the quality was always good. Taste was also awsome for me.

After my graduation i applied for MBA at SMIT. I always thought to study here. It has a reputation of job placements. All the average student studying here hets placed to different companies. And student here dont go below average. Below average students grows themselves after coming to SMIT.

My faculty members were very talented and supportive. Very well informed and trained. Every teaching members knows their roles very well. We had two main semesters in a year and 4 sessional test in every semester.

I went through all the required criteria for the selection. First GD, written test and personal interview. Few get rejected too. I joined for MBA program and my graduation degree was of BBA. Thus it was little expected for me to get through the selection process.
