There is good facility of rooms and cupboard
Well conditioned water coller and class facilities is good
Teacher's are so much loving and cooperative

Dislikes

Not so much sports facility and all equipment are broken or not working
Mesh food is extremely rubbish and not so good
There are no girls available in whole campus girls vs boys ratio is 0

Semester Exams are generally 5 month and sessional exams are monthly they can improve these system by enhancing more labs and technical things which improves our curriculum the exams are soo difficult for ece students

There are many intership opportunities in college in Microsoft sofcon etc but they didnot provide all much good facility as expected but for begginers to mentioned in resume it is good not satisfactory and other reasons

From 3 year students are capable to be sitted in college placement they provide good placement facility for students but placements is not so high and many student from here go for of campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our yearly fees is 1 lakh 27 thousand and it increases yearly by 5 thousand college generally not provide scholarship but u can benifited by some outside scholarship like tata hdfc etc the fees for whole 4 year with hostel.is 8 lakh approx

Campus Life

There are no clubs In our college , but there are many sports events such as interbranch and GPL . Also there is a fest named janagni which is the best fest of our campus peoples from many places come to enjoy and there is many events for college students

Hostel Facilities

In hostel theey provide tw0 fan 2 tubelight and 1 table chair and one single bed in every rooms . Meal quality is not soo good initially they give some good food but after that they don't provide good food

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

This college is not soo good as expected as I had applied also for smvdu but I didn't got that , smvdu is co-ed and also good in placement, sports facility classroom and other facility but this college is avg in all things

Faculty members are soo much loving and copperative other from class uu can go there and tell them ur problems they will provide uu specific answer of your solution , there are 2 sessional and 1 semester exam

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. Firstly we need 12th pass with 75% marks then crack the jee mains examination and sit in the josaa counseling then go into the csab counseling after the counseling crl rank under the 1lakh .
