Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is not fixed in the University as it is autonomous University, every year the curriculum changes according to industry needs, I have myself seen teachers discussion on new topics for next year syllabus But still there should be more emphasis on cloud computing and other web technologies skills rather than only classic computer science theory subjects The internals are somewhat harder than the final one but overall every thing is easy to prepare and password.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

A lot of companies visit the University fir internship and full time roles like Texas instrument Lam research Alstom Hyperface Juniper AWS Abb Toshiba Visteon Stipend is generally 25000 to 40000. Minimum package for a cse student is 4 lakh.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement of the college is decent and you can start applying from the end of the sixth semester , a lot of big companies like lam research,Juniper, Alstom, hyperface, Accenture, cognizant, AWS visit the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Comedk fee structure (non Karnataka citizens of India) Tuition fee 201960 Other fees 23000 Hostel and mess fees 80000 Karnataka citizens through CET Approx 90000 But now kletech is not under CET, the University will be conducting it's own exam, and fee will likely to go up for both Karnataka and non Karnataka citizens.

Campus Life

3.5

There are a lot of clubs for students to join and there is a great social life, the University organises alot of cultural events like cultural Odyssey, and tech fest. There is a large cricket ground in the campus, and a larger indoor stadium with a gym.

Admission

I was an iit aspirant but was not able to secure a seat in the prestigious university, so I looked into other exam for entering engineering colleges and gave comedk and there I was getting NITTE bangaluru and KLE Technological University huballi, so I choosed the later as it has agood infrastructure and .positive feedback from a lot of people

Faculty

5

In one batch of computer science there are approximately 70 students and there are 7 labs and each lab have a faculty. But for subjects there are 2 to 3 faculty each. So 2 to 3 faculty handles the entire batch individual subject. The attitude of the faculty is very good, there is no ego, they are actually very supportive and helpful and will not judge you. The AI team of the department is super chill and very talented leaded by uday Kulkarni sir and Sunil sir. In one semester there are total 3 exam, 2 internals and one final one. The internal ones are called ISA and the final one is called ESA.

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
