I was influenced by the practicals in this profession. As this is the only course where we got electrical, mechanical, technical as well as marine Engineering practical knowledge. The only improvement which I need is to add more practical like ship visit and remove some of the written exams. The exams are not so much difficult and they are conducted twice a year.

Campus placement record from the last two year was 100 percent.there are lots of companies visiting our campus some of them are like MSC , synergy, Pacific basins , M.O.L , K. line ,MMSC , Scorpio. After getting a degree I will proceed in the in which I will got up my placement .

Tution fees of this college is 225000 which includes the hostel, mess, as well as uniform and books charges. Other than that the caution deposit was 20000. This was same for all my batchmates. But for lateral entries or the batch which starts from 2023 there fees was slightly exceeds from 225000 to 252000 and the caution deposit was 30000

The overall experience in the campus bas good like there 7 clubs which inlude technical, photography , robotics, disaster management , cultural , literary, Placement record . And our campus library is one of the best library in all of the IMU and there are smart classrooms student got a best visual animated shots for their better understanding. After that there almost all sports conducted there and other than that last year we had conducted a sports meet . And above that we have a recreational room in which band practice is done.

Ours hostel fees was included in the campus fees and each room is of 2 students and we have a kitchen , bathroom and 2 beds in a room above that there is 24 hrs electricity and water and the message menu was quite good but the quality was very impressive in contrast of that the locality is not as good we can't hire a room or pg in the radius of 2 km .

Basically I want to join only this college and I had only applied for this one and other than that I hadn't given axams for any other colleges and for getting admission in our college is through a particular platform. Firstly you have to give IMU CET exam and you have to clear your 10th and 12th with atleast 60 % in english and in 12th atleast 60 % in PCM . For my college and course last year cutoff was approx 900 rank and in 2022 it was approx 1600. And my overall experience was very good because when I came to this college they helped me a lot and guide me what to do . Another thing which also had to be done was a medical from a prescribed DG approved doctor if you aren't medical fit then you are unable to join this college .

1:8 is the ratio of teacher to student . Faculties are very cooperative and help student in almost all problems and also guide us for our future . There are 4 to 5 faculty who are very much senior in our profession and they also share there experience on board. My favourite teacher is mr. Gopal krishna sir he was very superior in automation and he also worked in Samsung company . I liked him because his way of teaching is very much friendly. Basically there are 8 to 9 written exams per semester on an average and 4 practical exams. Almost 80 percentage of student are able to clear these exams.
