Course Curriculum Overview

4

On a fairly high note, I would evaluate the course curriculum as relevant and broad in scope. This is one of the reasons I decided to take this course because there was an appropriate blend between the theoretical subjects and the practical subjects which I found to be of practical nature. The syllabus is fairly relevant in preparing student’s for their immediate future career choices but there are areas that should be revised bring in professional relevance. The methodology used in these teaching strategies may also be improved where a practice oriented approach is advanced. Examinations are done in every semester and though the subjects of their respective exams are reasonable for the most part, some are considerably hard. In general if not more, the course can definitely be improved with practical cases and relevant information.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was 75000/- per year along with 10000/- caution deposit and a registration fee of 500/- .The fee structure is different for merit,Management and NRI seats. There are many scholarships to help students with financial aid.

Campus Life

4

My overall experience with campus life has been positive, especially when it comes to social activities and the infrastructure provided. The college hosts annual and technical festivals, like Astral, usually held in April, which are fun and engaging. The library has a good collection of books and journals, making it easy to access study materials. The classrooms are equipped with modern technology, like projectors and smart boards, which make learning better. There are plenty of sports and extracurricular activities on campus, and students can join various clubs and student-run groups that make campus life more lively and interactive. These clubs have a big impact on student life, helping with both personal and professional growth.

Admission

I selected this college because of my KEAM rank I was offered a merit seat, which made it a less costly college compared to others I had applied for. It is a known fact that the college had a good faculty and infrastructure, which was alluring to me. Although other colleges I applied to were good as well, unfortunately, their fees were expensive, and I was unable to get a seat there. I remember this college having a very efficient admission process and trust- there was no bribery because the selection process was based on merit. In a nutshell, I have to put the fact that this college was the most recommendable source of education in terms of cost-benefit analysis.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio in my college is fair and most of the teachers are friendly or accessible. Some teachers are the best because, it is fun to learn from them and they illustrate with practical examples. On the other hand, few teachers tend to emphasize too much on the theoretical side, which makes it hard to apply the learned material in practice. The design of the course is simple- it has core and non-core subjects and examinations take place every semester. The examinations are not that difficult as you may seem to be, provided you follow up with your studies on a regular basis, even so, there are some subjects which can be quite difficult. The evaluation system is just and provides for both periodic and final examinations. As a result, the content of the program is satisfactory given the needs, however it would be useful to include more up-to-date one.
