Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course had a minor paper of data science. This will be useful in the future. Taking this course will be helpful in the future and it will give many opportunities. Many application level areas were there. After the exams,we were given minimum 1 month break before starting another semester.

Placement Experience

4

From third semester onwards they start to prepare us by giving soft skill classes. By semester 8 placements starts to happen. Guidance will be given before the interviews and also meeting will be there. Even they give the details of how to dress for the interviews. 50% of the students get placed. I got placed in the 8 semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees system was per semester. We had to pay 50,050 per semester that is 1,00,100 per year. For physics students the fee per semester was 55,000 that is 1,10,000 per year. The course was worth as per the fees. No scholarship was given for our batch. Everybody was paying this amount.

Campus Life

3.5

Every major festivals and events were celebrated grandly. Dance and music were there in every events. Some events were in the night and that was just awesome. Everyone can participate and no entry fee was there. Oru fest Vidyut was superb. It was a 3 day program.

Hostel Facilities

2

My hostel room was three sharing. My roommates was also my classmates. Food was the only thing I was disappointed with. Basic facilities were there, we can't use kettle and all. 65,000 rupees was actually overpriced with the food quality. Most of the students didn't like the food and also only vegetarian food was available. They don't provide non vegetarian food.

Admission

First had to give a test and then an interview. After qualifying both we had to give the verification and pay for the first semester and if you are choosing hostel, 1 year hostel fee also should be paid. The admission process was a smooth process.

Faculty

3.5

Every faculty was there to help us. We can approach them and they are always ready to help us. Our advisor was the best among others. Always proudly saying "My children". The exams were difficult. The number paper per semester was different. The difficulty level increases as per the semester. Only 3 or 4 fail the exam the rest will pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

Remarks:

College lacks infrastructure and ample space for the ease of college excitement but the college offers a great field of laboratories and on-site experience in the field the faculty and lectures sometimes involve too much into their personal life than minding their own business.
