Likes

First thing which is liked the most is Fully flexible credit system
Diversity like in campus there are students from all over the India
Faculties are too good and every one has done phd

Dislikes

In this college there are too much restrictions
College is in remote location so traveling is an issue

Course Curriculum Overview

In all the VITS there are mostly relevant courses only , except in first year where we have to learn chemistry and all but other than that all are tech related subject and project learning . For timing in this college we can select our own courses and from which faculty we want to learn and we can select our own timing also

Internships Opportunities

Internship is available from third year for which there will hackathon and coding test mostly of DSA then the placement cell will sort out the students on the basis of the skill then according to the opportunity students get the internship

Placement was good earlier but now it is declining because of the crowd . Like there are 5000 in 24 batch . But still placements are decent enough , if you maintain your cgpa you can get it easily also this year Google India and phone pe visited campus for placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 198000 (including all academics) and the caution deposit is 15000. 198000 is for first category , 307000 for second , 405000 for third , 448000 for fourth and 493000 for fifth category.

Campus Life

Advitya is the techno culture fest which the best thing that happen in campus mostly it happens in February month. Number of books are decent enough but they are improving it and also they ask us which book you want so that they can order it

Hostel Facilities

There are four mess CRCL is the poorest, then there comes Mayuri which is Good and then comes Safal mess which is the best , apart from that AB MESS is only for Girls so that decent. There fans provided in hostel, lights and wifi

Admission

I didn't cross the cut off the Jee so only private colleges are there in my option so I chose VIT Bhopal because of the VIT tag and as VIT Bhopal is a branch of VIT and for the admission there is an entrance exam

Faculties are the main highlight of the college mostly all the faculty are chill , they maintain very comfortable around class , but some teachers like Narendra Babu are very strict . Per semester there are mid sems exams and term exam

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

Whether you should join VIT bhopal or not

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More

Couldn't get much percentile in JEE to get a GOOD gov colleges otherwise could have got IIITs and a few NITs.
