Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is ok I choice my course because I like it and has very good impact on me, I'm learning more that I'm interested in and also made lots of new creative ideas unlocked within me and unlike my other state friends I feel I have learned more and has experienced new things.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I have never applied for internships here from the college but I took it from my belonging state. But they do provide internships here too and I just took up the psychology course internship in therapy planning and applied for multiple positions as well

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees gets increased by year and its about 65000 plus. It doesn't includes any tuition fees but for admission I gave 35000 ahead also seats were easily given a advantage of being ST. The fees is not same as my batch mates because it also depends on extra courses or language we choice for. And for scholarships I applied for non merit at my Nagaland state and it's a installment wise scholarship were we get 4000.

Campus Life

3.5

I have experienced enough with good and bad environments here in college also I get difficulty in language barrier here with the students but apart from that everything is fine and well maintained and I have joined almost 3 club in here.

Admission

The admission process was on direct with the spot for me and I had given an interview for admission, it was my will to join this Jyoti Nivas college and also I have opt for other colleges as well but the list of students name were delayed in others colleges so I made a stop directly at JNC.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is all good but the making system for the teachers are very strict and also we are given with two courses which is hard to handle and focus on two at a time. I don't know how many of the students were not able to make out the exam but I have given all the exams and I even passed in all without any backlogs.

Other Applied Colleges

Jyoti Nivas College - [JNC] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Psychology)

Because it a very well regarded women’s college with a strong focus on women education and has a various field of in studies and also priorities students well being and extracurricular activities.g focus

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Remarks:

I liked the course provided by this college. The subjects are different for every semester and the aura is splendid. This college provides a very good faculty which not only is good at keeping up with academics, but also is great in keeping a good rapport with their students. There is a whole variety of extra curricular activities which brings out the core personality of every student. I for a fact, had stage fear. But after I chose MIC, I really started getting over it.
