Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum Is Set Like That.. It Covers The All Aspect Of The Representative Course Each Semester Slowly Slowly. In Our Curriculum Exam Has Taken In 7-8 Steps 1. Quiz Will Happen At The First 2.Presentation Making 3.Group Project 4.Mid -Term 5. Case Study

Seat Acceptance Fee- 10,000 Rs. 1St Semester Fee- 7150 Rs. 2Nd Semester Fee- 4000Rs. As I'M A Day Scholar I Don'T Have To Pay Any Other Fee Whether It'S Exam Fee, Annual Fee, Etc.. For Hostellers They Have Extra Hostel And Mess Charges Hostel Charges - 36,000 Per Year Mess Charges - 4000 Per Month And Same They Have Tution Fee Of 4,000 In 2Nd Semester And Also 7,150 For 1St Semester

Campus Life

There are many festivals and competitions happens in the IARI-DELHI CAMPUS in Regular Bases. Every month there is something to participate. One of them is bloom bash, rangoli making ,sports meet, Dandiya night in Navratri days, new year celebration in December 31. DJ night sports meet happens twice in a year , (May, September) Previously, there is not any club for undergraduate students but now onwards there is also many clubs for UG like music club, cricket club, chess club, dance club, singing club, Etc.. Our classes generally happens By projector in whiteboard through presentation, prepared by the professors. There is a big campus library named Dr. swaminathan library. It contains lot of books needed for every course That is available in IARI curriculum.. it also contains many books that are not included in IARI curriculum. Behind that in every division there is a divisional library that consist mainly the book of that division.

Admission

For UG there is not Any A Constant Cutoff. It Varies Year By Year .But This Much I Know It's Very Low For UG And Very High Or High Rankers For Msc./Phd. Before This I got a Bsc.(Hons.) Electrical Engineering in Sri Aurobindo College Situated At Malviya Nagar. Comes in Delhi University.. But Due To Campus Size .. yes!!! Due To Campus Size I Left that College And Then Got This. You Simply Have To Clear CUET exam , And Note That You Have To Select ICAR while Giving CUET. After CUET Register on ICAR OFFICIAL WEBSITE AND THEN whole Counselling Takes place. For UG Mainly It Has 4 courses Bsc Agriculture Bsc Community Science If You Get Selected you'll Get an Email with Id Password For Signup On ICAR WEBSITE By This Only You Can Continue With Futher Counselling As I Already Explained.. Seat Acceptance Fee 10,000 500 for Website Registration Than 7,150 for 1st Semester Fee It Can Be Change In Future

In IARI-DELHI Campus Alot Of Faculties Are there . Suppose I have 7 Course, in that 5-6 faculties Should Be there (Approx) . Each Faculty Will Cover Only 1 Topic . As I'm the Student Of Community Science.. in 1st Sem I had Studied Art and Design .. This Include 3-4 Faculties.. Named- Dr. Pratibha Joshi Dr. Gaurav Papnai Dr. Suneha Goswami In which My Favourite One Is Dr. pratibha Joshi ma'am..She Is Very Very Cooperative. Even If she is UG SUB-COORDINATOR.. She Always Supports Me . in Every Situation ???? As I'm From Maths Background And After When She Know This He Specifically Focused On Me when Subject Like Life Span Development, Biochemistry Came , She Provides Study Material Other Than Notes for My Better Understanding.. I really Never Seen Women/Teacher/Proffesor Like This .. I really Thankful For this Much Support In My Whole Life ...

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

College and my 1st year

Likes

All girls college not male allowed in there without permission so everything feels right and safe
Conducts annual fests to change the vibe
Gotta know different types of people from different places

Dislikes

Student often get used to bad habits like smoking and drinking
To many protests everyone is doing protest even for the smallest inconvenience
Some teachers doesn't complete the syllabus they left it and students have to study on their own

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially I wanted to choose physics honours with somehow I felt physics will get me to hard as per by 12 so I choose chemistry honours over physics honours and as if I am doing bsc so yeah it is giving me all the Chemistry by and I feeling alrighting am a learning will help me for job one day the classroom here are very small and very uncomfortable to set and study only thing for teaching I want to change for my department is the classrooms and examination schedule date sheet is also very bad for Delhi University like they change the date sheet 4 to 5 times within a month and till the one is not confirmed so yeah that's things

Dream college or not ?

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

this course is not bound to a particular subject or field. you can go to different fields after pursuing this course. curriculum is good it helps students and practicals are performed in labs which gives a real life experience difficulty level of exams is very moderate and you can pass the exam easily pyqs are repeated oftenly

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

Likes

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
