Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The building of base as a doctor which includes thorough study of the basic knowledge and then in the later parts of the course integrating it with practical knowledge is really helpful, and it also prepares for what is there in the real world, dealing with patients and peers which is the primary focus of becoming a doctor

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There is a one year rotating internship which is compulsory for everyone to attend at the end of the 4.5 year course. The internship program provides with stipened which is low as compared to the work load, but the experience is great overall

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for general category in first year is ?49700 including caution money of ?10000, and from second year onwards the fees is ?40000 per year The fees for SC/ST/OBC category for first year is ?40700 including ?10000 caution money, and from second year onwards it is ?31000 per year.

Campus Life

4

The campus life involves classes operated from 9AM to 5PM and later spending time in library for personal growth. The social aspects involve interaction with patients and peers and also interacting with your seinors and facilities.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities are great with things including an almiral, a bed, a table and a chair. I am personally disappointed by the mess facilities as there is no permanent mess in this hostel. The process of getting a hostel is pretty easy as it proceeds with the admission process and it is easily affordable

Admission

This college is overall the second ranking college in Uttar Pradesh, above this I also applied for Kind George Medical University which is the top college in Uttar Pradesh, I didn't get that college because of my low score of NEET-UG which was 657. After that I chose this college because of it's overall infrastructure and academics. The admission process includes counselling which is conducted at the state and national level and the seat allotment is based on marks obtained in NEET-UG

Faculty

4

The faculty members are excellent, they are very supportive. The course involves four professional exams that is first, second, third part 1 and third part 2. The first professionals include non clinical subjects, the second and third professionals onclude semi clinical while the fourth professionals include clinical subjects. In every professional there are four types of exams- the mid terms, the terminals, the pre-professionals and the professionals. The marking scheme for first 2 mentioned exams are 100 marks on theory and the latter 2 include 200 marks of theory divided into 2 papers and 100 marks of practicals for every subject

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my dream destination career wise to choose MBBS . MBBS connects you to life and death the two most important aspects of being a human on this planet . Having a power to cure someone and make people smile and live again with health is something else. As in our India the population to doctor ratio is very less hence it's important for the young generation to understand and evaluate the decision of serving the country this way. MBBS is dream for many but reality for very few students all over the country. But the people reaching here face toxic culture also , as prestigious it is as disturbing sometimes it becomes , people over here do not understand the mental health of others So this aspect should be taken in to care and medicos should be handled with care by the society, government and also the seniors . The exams are big rat race , but it's really satisfying as a reader as you get to study and read a lot about medicine . So choose MBBS but not toxicity make your mind that you ll make it beautiful for yourself and also for your batchmates and juniors as well .
