Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is regularly updated at the University level. Which prepares the students to step out into the new world. Ofc there are teachers who doesn't teach that we'll, but i haven't met any teacher who is not ready to clear our doubts. We have mid sem exams and sem exams. I would rate a 8/10 for the difficulty level.

Internships Opportunities

3

Amrita university have intership tie ups with a lot of companies in and out of india. Ofcourse not everyone is going to get that opportunity. But the thing is, the opportunity is available you just have to work hard and grab the opportunity and make it yours

Placement Experience

4

About the placements, it is far better than any other colleges in India, apart from NITs and IITs. For EEE course you could expect an average package of 6-7 LPA which is pretty decent. Almost every student gets placed in one or another company. There are students who opt to do higher education too.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee will vary according to your slab, which is determined by your score in AEEE exam or JEE. The fee for slab one students is 1,00,000 per year and for slab 2 and 3 it is 2,00,000 and for management seat it is 3,00,000 (PER YEAR). There is no such admission fee apart from these. Caution fee is 10,000. Lab fees and uniform fees are included in the tution fee.

Campus Life

3.5

To rate the overall campus life I'll give it a 7/10. You can't get into this college if you're thinking of spending your college life having so much fun and partying and stuffs. Yeah there is fun and celebrations but not as much as one is expecting. It's a really good college if you're interested in studies more than extra curricular activities. There are a lot of tech clubs which have won a lot of international competitions also non-tech clubs too. But they give more importantance to tech clubs than non technical ones.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel facilities are pretty decent. It costs 74,000 per year (fee) including mess fees and accomodation. The food is pretty decent too but it's a veg mess. But you have a non-veg canteen right next to mess. The timings for girls is 5:30pm and for boys it is 9:00pm. And the wardens won't allow you to go out of the hostel (apart from mess/canteen) in short or sleeveless dresses.

Admission

I joined this college because of the rankings. According to nirf ranking 2024 amrita university is at the 7 rank, which clearly indicates that it's one of the best in the country. About the admission procedure, you can take admission either through AEEE or JEE percentile or you can apply with both of them. Or through Management quota. The cutoff of these exams varies every year.

Faculty

4

The faculties are very approachable. Most of them graduated from NITs and IITs and some of them are still working on researches. As for exams, we have 2 mid sem exams, and 2 sem exams every year. The course curriculum and syllabus is very regularly updated.
