Fees and Financial Aid:
Currently there are three fee slabs in my college. amrita offers scholarships for those who have scored more than 80 percentile in their entrance test. Slab 3 requires you to pay 3 lakhs as tution fee annually for electrical and electronics enginnering (fee may vary from different branches of engineering). slab 2 offers 1.5 lakh scholarship from original fees. slab 1 only requires you to pay 1 lakh as tutuion fee.
fees are payed annually inluding mess and hostel fee.
mess fee is 40000 ruppees and hostel fee is 32000 amounting to 72000 for hostel and mess. Annually slab 1 students neefd to pay 1 lakh seventy two thousand ruppees in total.
for a second slab student it will amount to almost 2.5 lakhs
now other than tution,mess and hostel fee caution deposit will be ten thousand rupees.
my college also offers various other scholarship programs that are allowed by the government of india.

The fees of Amrita Vishwavidyapeedam Amritapuri depends on the slab you are admitted in. Eg for EEE in slab one you need to pay Rs1,00,000 which includes just the tution fees and for slab 2 and 3 the fee is 2,00,000 for non scholarship category the fee is Rs 3,00,000. The fees depends on the AEE which is an entrance exam conducted by Amrita or it depends on your jee main scores. Apart from the tution fee the hostel fee is 75,000 which includes the mess fess also.

- If we get below 8.0 cgpa yearly the slab will go down but on the next year if we secure more cgpa, we wont get our initial slab back which is an unfair thing. Fhey want us to loose our slab inorder for them to get more fees

Usually its around 3 lakh for the non scholarship but for peoples who secured rank in their entrance exams they will get into 3 sectors which we call slabs, depending on their ranks they get...now i got around 10k rank in my entrance ,thus i got placed in slab 1 in amritapuri branch . Now u may wonder how i got in amritapuri slab 1, with 10k rank. So my first selection was coimbatore but due to my rank they made my selection into amritapuri which my my second choice. For slab 1 its 1lpa for slab 2 its 1.65lpa and for slab 3 its 2lpa

The fee for general category. CSE students is five lakh per annum, and those with scholarships have separate scholarship slaps based on whatever marks they get entrance exam. The fees category for electrical students starts from 2.5 lakhs and it goes down till one lakh based upon whatever scholarship slab you get according to your score exams, and you have to maintain that scholarships love by maintaining our CGPA higher than 8.5. Basically, AMRITA school of engineering in Kollam district is really economical for people and it has a high rank in NIRF.

The fee will vary according to your slab, which is determined by your score in AEEE exam or JEE. The fee for slab one students is 1,00,000 per year and for slab 2 and 3 it is 2,00,000 and for management seat it is 3,00,000 (PER YEAR). There is no such admission fee apart from these. Caution fee is 10,000. Lab fees and uniform fees are included in the tution fee.

There will be a scholarship based on the performance in the written exam, if we score more we will get more scholarship. But if we our performance during the course is not up to the mark they will change our fee slab.

Basically, there are 4 slabs, 1st slab is 100000, 2nd slab is 125000, 3rd slab is 150000, 4th slab is 200000. This is for (amrita puri campus).
It differs from campus to campus.
Candidates can apply for an education loan which is available on the college website itself and even financial assistance also.

The fee structure depends on the admission test results. There are 3 slabs. As the slab number increases then the fee increases.so it's better to perform well on the admission test. You will get a scholarship for sure. If your performance is good in academics then you will get 4 year scholarship by management.You will get scholarship only if you perform well in admission test.

I have availed a scholarship of 90% in my college. This scholarship is awarded to students on the basis of the rank secured in the entrance exam. This scholarship can be availed in the subsequent years only if the student secures a minimum of 8 GPA in the previous year

I have a friend who is an alumnus from the 2007-11 batch of the EEE branch and based on her input, I would highly recommend you to join this campus! In case you miss out on getting into NIT/IIT, trust me, you should go for Amrita as your third-best choice.
My friend had completed her B.Tech from Amrita and went to a top-notch government college for her M.Tech. It would provide you exposure like no other renowned college in the whole of Kerala. My friend and her batchmates were experts in the microcontroller program. Their expertise led them to participate in programming for FPGA.
- The department and its faculties are highly qualified as expected. Most of the faculty members are doing their PhDs. Plus, some faculties are doing their PhDs from IITs as well.
- Reputed conferences and journals consist of work by the institute's faculty members and students. Good funding is carried out to food projects wherein my friend's batch was one amongst them too.
- The curriculum pattern is super flexible. A lot of spare time can be put into important projects and fast-track courses can be completed too.
- My friend got herself the extremely prestigious student exchange program- Erasmus Mundus. She is currently doing their research for reputed companies in the country and abroad.
- Since most of my friends and her batch-mates were offered jobs by that time, traveling to Coimbatore for that placement was not a big deal. This job opportunity came from companies like Renault, Schneider, Ericsson, etc.
Therefore, one should always consider joining Amrita for the EEE branch.
