Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is fantastic as there are many concepts which i had no odea about and right know i am very well gained a lot of knowledge . we even get holidays before our exams starts so that we get enough time to get ready for the exams

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 950000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities available in the college based upon your specializations like Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Data Science, Operations. you will have to apply as soon as companies come onboard and get ready for the gd and interview rounds

Placement Experience

so the placement process is upto the mark here as our final year in mba starts from July 1st week and placment window is started from august end, so we have enough time to prepare ourseleves and the placmentsts are too great in our college

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is 9.5 Lakhs for MB i have no idea about other categories The tution fees and other things will be mentioned in the fee reciept apart from the fees no additional fees are required I did not avail any scholarships but yes its available

Campus Life

The infrastructure is top notch, I had the best 1 year in this very campus from enjoying freshers party to going to each and every fest, division competitions and so on, also being a part of team melange and contributing towards the fests it has been a once in a life time experience

Admission

I am from Mumbai and i wanted to get a top college for Mba in mumbai itself i searched and found out this college is one of the best and has most succesfull mba programs in India. hence i only applied for this college and did not apply to any other college at all

Faculty

So we have trimisters i.e 3 semesters in a year and our course is divided into 8 subjects per trimister. For each subject we have a different faculty incharged and they provide us with great knowledge to help us get great insights for our future as well as for our exams

Interview Experience

There was a panel of teachers and the topic provided to me was retirement age where i had to form answers to 3 questions under 10 minutes followed by an interview round were i was asked about everything i have done so far and why mba

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

KJ Somaiya - A lively campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

THE TRUTH ABOUT KJ SOMAYA

I applied for feweer Colleges but not in Mumbai this was the only college i applied in Mumbai outside Mumbai i applied in Chennai Delhi Bhopal etc but as my parents suggested not to go far away and stay here I got approval too from many of them but when they saw I got approval in kj they said it's nice get this college u can stay here , addmission process is like hetciccccc like I have no words it soo bad , 70% I might say to be eligible cutoff for these exams are not that much so you can be chill bro...Read More

I have applied in three colleges namely 1). Mumbai University 2).K.J.Somaiya college of engineering 3).Swami Vivekananda society of engineering. I did apply for just one more college for safety as I was very sure of getting admission in KJ. I had heard a lot about KJ's HM so dreamt of it. I availed Gujarati quota for admission. My college experience

The selection criterion includes cut-off cleared scores of CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ GMAT, a GD-PI round, past academic records and work experience if any. For CAT and XAT, the cut-off is usually 80-85%ile; for GMAT, the cut-off is 550-600 and for CMAT it is 85-90%ile. The group discussion is case-based. Outstanding achievements has 8% of weightage in the election process. The pros of the institute include its infrastructure, inclusive classrooms, case-based pedagogy and rich alumni base.
