A brief review of kurnool medical college

A lot of areas in the course have got my interest in choosing this course in this college. The college faculty is extremely good and is very well experienced since many years. The college follows central NMC curriculum for all batches. Some of teaching methods can be improvised asbmost of the classes are given by power point presentations.

The government hospital of kurnool being beside the college, internship is given to all the passing out batch students. All the important medical services are taught in the hospital by the doctors and postgraduates. The stipend given is around 30000rs every month to all the intern students.

Hii everyone. Me as a student of kurnool medical college is having an amazing journey through my MBBS course. The college provides a wide range of opportunities for studies and has a great teaching faculty . A large number of outpatient provides access to number of medical cases that can be studied. The college fee per year is 12000 rs . University fee of 15000 rs should be paid only in the first year. Hostel fee is 50000 rs per year. The fee structure is same for all categories of people. The food in the hostel is very good and all good facilities are provided. A lot of scholarship schemes can be availed every year provided students upto 30000rs . Thus it's a very prestigious and great medical college of the Telugu states.

A lot of events takes place every year in the college. Freshers party is conducted every year for the new batch of students coming into the college. Convocation is held every year for the passing out batch. Festivals like Christmas, Vinaya chaviti etc are greatly celebrated. The college library is a pool of all the books and has all the accessibility and requirements. The facilities and technological provisions are very good. Every year sports tournament is conducted in which all the students participate and enjoy together.

I have applied to other medical colleges such as Andhra medical college in vizag and guntur medical college in guntur. I have come across the information that the faculty is much better here in Kurnool medical college than those above mentioned colleges. I have also applied for jipmer college in pondicherry but it was not approved as my rank was low by 10 points. The admission process is simple in the college.All the requirements documents such as identity proof,10th class mark list,12th class mark list,neet score card, passport size photo, etc are needed to be submitted at the time of admission. NEET exam conducted nationwide is the only exam accepted to this college for MBBS course. The cutoff vary every year and for various categories of students.

All the faculty are very well experienced and talented. They teach very well and are Cooperative. There are around 20 faculty members in each department which is a very good number. Dr Vishnu Priya mam, Soma shekar sir are my favourite faculty members as their teaching methods and interaction with students is very good. Yearly 2 internal exams and one prefinals exam is conducted for all batches. By studying properly the exams are easy to clear. Yearly approximately 10 students fail and most of them gets passed in the supplementary exams conducted again.
