Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this courses because i want to do job in banking sector . I didn't think they need any improvement overall it was good e,exam timing is 3 hours and sometimes according to the marks of exam were decided the timing of exam

Class Size: 1Course Fees: INR 12500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We paid semester wise fees and i paid 12500 for my bcom first year fees and in my college there is scholarship also available for reservations category.my batchmate fees also same and they also charge exam fees 230 which u paid recently

Campus Life

Campus was good they have different departments of subjects like arts,dance commerce, medical, etc, and they also have library, canteen, Nescafe, sports department nss ncc,etc and gym also available for students

Admission

I choose many college but the merits based i have got that college and i was good it is govt college and there fees h comparative ly law which is affordable for us and my college experience is best,,,,

Faculty

They conducted semester exam and in my bcom course i have 8 subject as per NEP20 And they require minimum 33% passing percentage. If anyone is failed in exam so that they re appear the exam next year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tech mahindra, airtel, delloitte,etc visited for campus Placements. The highest package this year was 9 Lakhs. And average package this year was 6 lakhs. Near around 97% students got campus placement. After getting degree my plan is to opt for MBA in finance from a good reputed college .
