Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good . Just like every other college we were taught the basics of other engineering branches in our Ist year. In our second year we were taught the fundamentals of our course like operating systems, DBMS,DSA,TOC,OOPS etc followed by a mini project at the end of 2nd year

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 127900 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th sem students are allowed to do internships . Coming to placements even though our college may get decent companies like Accenture,Delight etc placements are not upto the standards of NITs. Placement percent at present is around 79

Fees and Financial Aid

Basic tuition fee : 62,500/- per sem But for every odd sem a provisional registration fee of 2900/- is to be paid so tuition fee for odd sem would be : 65,400/- for oc category MEB(Annual income < 1 lakh) and OEB(Annual income < 5lakhs) can apply for fee remission after the start of semester. All students have to pay the total fee at the start of sem but the excess amount will be remitted to their bank accounts. Fee for oeb students is 2900/- where as for meb students it would be 20,800/- remaining amount is remitted to their accounts

Campus Life

We have our annual techno cultural fest VULCANZY held 2 times a year at February(Cultural) and November(Technical). Even though we do have fests but they need to be increased.We also have several clubs like E- yantra, Literature and debate club etc

Hostel Facilities

We have a 2 bed room hostel room. Infrastructure is good.mess food is average.we were given a cot , a study table , a chair and almirah . Hostel fee is around 30k per sem this also includes mess charges and caution deposit. Hostel registration cancel be done during the time of physical reporting at the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Admission into our college is based on JEE mains rank and JOSAA counselling. My rank was around 12k so I easily get seat in our college. One thing that I hate about our college is we have very few fests

Faculty

Good faculty but most of them were adhoc . They thoroughly interact with students. For exam structure we are having 2 sems for a year and in every sem each subject is graded for 100 marks out of which 50 are internals and remaining are externals(semester examinations)

from the 3rd year on the wards the placement training will start so that we can improve in the coding skills so that we can get placed in the campus placements. so many companies offereed our college like HCL,INFOSYS,TECH MAHINDRA, and soon compaines are offered our college to get placed the students.upto 12lac package the companies are offered to our college . in the previous batch the senior students are got placed in the campus interview. if we study hard we can get placed in the campus interview.

College Internships to Company Offers : Strong Career Foundation

Placement Experience:

-The placements are decreasing year by year, from the the time I joined the placements have vastly decreased and some companies have also stopped coming due to their pool period. -Students are eligible form 6th semester but for my juniors the management is avaling it from 5th semester only. -The componies visited are: INFOSYS COGNIZANT JUSPAY Till now many college might follow. -Highest package is 21lpa which is offered by INFOSYS for specialist programmer. -The number of offer made are around 200 upon my latest knowledge. -Upon my latest knowledge around 60% of students are bring placed through placements. -I am already placed in INFOSYS which is a girls pool selection held in kakinada Aditya University around a month ago. -If no campus placement is offered, some students are currently trying for off-campus jobs across various platforms like linkedin and other official sites, and some students are thinking of pursuing M.Tech for higheer degree in other universities.

Rather than this college I also applied for other colleges nit's in the counseling I got this college because of my rank.i also choose this college because it has good placement percentage and average package.and one more reason is I am a native of Andhra Pradesh so this college will be some near also and the food will be good. College life at NIT-AP

I liked this college because studying at a national institute is every student's dream. It is not that much easy. Particularly, we can't compare these national institutes with other colleges as they are highly prestigious. The main reason why I have chosen this college, we (Andhra) people have 50% reserved seats in the college. Eligibility is students should have to clear their jee mains exam with the best percentile to secure their dream branch. The cut-off will be changed every year. It is around the 93 percentile to achieve a branch in the college for an Oc student. Overall admission process is very smooth and not that complex....Read More
