A overall review of IIT Roorkee

Course curriculam is good but most of the students are doing something else here so there is no any importance for the course curriculam, but if you are students who want to persue your branch for them course curriculam is well maintained and affordable to learn.

You will get internship in every role whether it is software development, data management, design, analyst, consultancy and core and much more, and getting an intern is an easy way to crack placement as most of the companies provide PPO then your task will be more easier.

Placement is something that is most appealing part here. You are eligible for placement in your final year first semester, and almost 500-600 companies visit every year and placement ratio is almost 95% but in 2024 due to recession this number is very less but the trend is as it is. Companies like Google, Microsoft, BNY Mellon, BCG, Data Bricks visit here.

I am paying almost 280000 per year in which tution fees is 200000, hostel and food fees 46500 and exams fees and registration fees are 33500. There are a lot of scholarship available like tution fee waiver if your annual income is less than 100000 you will get 100% off in tution fees, and if your annual income in between 1lakh-5 lakh you will get 2/3rd off on your tution fee. Apart from that we have one more scholarship named MCM in which you have to maintain your cg above 7 and your annual income should less than 5 lakhs.

It is very awesome you have enough time to handle all these thing simultaneously and the student here are very supportive so you can easily take part in every thing because every clubs have their secys and they are seniors so you can easily access and clear your doubt. All the facilities and requirement are provided by the college itself whether it is your costume or any accessories.

From third year onwards everyone got their Single room with full facilities of wifi Lan and tibelight 24 hr light, laundry. The condition is very good and there is seperate hostel for 1st and 2nd year to avoid ragging. The mess is very very descent and you get three times a day meal and all the 7 days you will get different meal every time and the meal has wide range including north Indian, south Indian some regional foods

You have to appear in thye Jee adv and secure general rank upto 4500 to get into chemical engineering in iit roorkee.The application is released by jossa and some reservation are also there for category students and female candidates. The reason to chose this college is very simple this is the top iits and getting a decent branch with less load appeal me to take admission, and no doubt placement and internship opportunities are lot here. And in future connection is more important than anything else.

The faculty members here are too chill and they are very approachable they usually sit in their office you can anytime go their office for the doubt and anything. The grading is good here if you just attend the classes it's very easy to maintain GPA around 8.There are a lots of faculty here for a subject there are more than 3 faculties so it's good, and every proffesor knows everything.
