The student will get admission by submitting their GATE or IIT JEE or AIEEE score or they can also give entrance exam of the college and get good marks. The college will explain the complete pattern of the examination so that the students can prepare well for it. The process is very simple and the admission committee is present if you need any help.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Civil engineering is not easy as it seems. The engineers use their skills to optimize performances and effectiveness and efficiency of the community systems so that there is harmony maintained everywhere. They have also developed high tech water and sewer systems to enable the inflow and outflow very smoothly maintaining the health conditions of everyone.

Internships Opportunities

Internships of civil engineers are usually in government offices or private companies looking out for such interns who can be available on the field all the time and look at the operations and ensure that they run smoothly. They are given a stipend of rs2500 per month for the next 2 to 3 months of the program.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement time is very crucial and civil engineers are very difficult to train since their skills and abilities are not according to the corporate industries and still the college gives them special training and makes sure that they get the job offers they deserve. All the students in my batch and my seniors batch got placed in good companies.

Exam Structure

The exams were very difficult and time given for preparation was less than imagined. Although the college claim that they gave an extra day of holiday in each exam so that the student are able to revise their syllabus. The practicals and projects and assignments were also marked and grades were given accordingly.

Life at RCE is an exciting account of wisdom, advancement and celebration. My experience at RCE Roorkee has taught me one fundamental thing – life is unpredictable. It might be good, it might be bad, it might be weird, and it might not interest you, but expect anything to happen. For example, you might have a wonderful job this moment, and be fired the very next moment.

I gave IIT-JEE for entering into one of the topmost institutes of India. I secured an almost closing rank of Computer Science Engineering at IIT Roorkee ( around 730s ). I opted for this college because I aimed at getting CSE as my branch and According to my rank, I found Roorkee as the best option, also I didn't want to go to IIT Madras or Kharakpur, so amongst the top seven IITs , Roorkee became cup- of-my tea.
