Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

This curriculum prepares us on how an aircraft works and how to design an aircraft. Towards the end of the course in the 3rd academic year the students are allowed to choose a specification that they may be interested in. Teaching could improve drastically as a majority of the students do not understand what the professors are trying to teach

Internships Opportunities

1.5

4th year students get placed into various campanies if eligible such as DRDO, ISRO, etc. But many final year students are placed in IT companies with a vast difference in their degree and the nature of their work. Final year students also work closely with the professors on a project based on their chosen specifications.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee - 350000 Hostel fee - 49000 Mess fee - 45270 The fees are based on a slab structure which is divided into 5 slabs where the fees increases gradually as the slabs increase with the 5th slab being non scholarship category

Campus Life

3.5

There are 2 main events held every year namely a large scale traditional event for the festival of Gokulashtami and the other is a campus wide fest called anokha with various activities held for the students. The campus provides a large library with access to a large variety of textbooks and material. The classrooms are provided with a projector. Certain classrooms also come equipped with multiple charging plug points on every bench. The campus offers a variety of sports and every student is allowed to try out for any sport they may be interested in. The campus also offers a huge variety of clubs which range from sport to a racing team which builds their own automobiles.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The hostel room is rather small with 4 people with 4 steel cots and 4 steel lockers along with 2 tables Meal quality is better than what was initially expected. The menu is similar everyday with south Indian food mainly with an option of rotis. The hostel requires you to sign documents which removes all sense of privacy for the students and allows the wardens to check anyone's room at any point if they feel like it. The hostel fee is 49000/- per annum and the mess fee is 45270/- per annum.

Admission

I applied to various colleges in Bangalore but didn't receive confirmation of admission from any of them. My college accepts JEE mains and JEE advance scores along with their own entrance exam AEEE It also takes into consideration the 12th grade scores of their applicants

Faculty

1.5

The faculty and student relationship varies from branch to branch. But personally in the aerospace engineering department most of the faculty are not very approachable. A large number of students tend to avoid the faculty. We personally dislike our class advisor as he led us to believe he was approachable and would help us in a time of need but we soon found out that it was all false. There are 2 exams per semester which are the mid semester exams and the end semester exams respectively and they tend to be extremely difficult for no reason at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum behind or campus is very much updated and it is changing as the technology changes. As the present world is engaging with computer and artificial intelligence,I want to improve more knowledge and also want to compete with others. The time table and the devlopment technology followed by our university is devoloped so that only placement are recorded with high percentage when compared to other. The improvement should be observed only regarding labs.We have write examination for every 30 or 40 days , because there are 3 internal test ,semester and lab exams.Actually time is not sufficient but we have to do hardwork.when compared to other universities or colleges our exams arebwry hard.
