Life is worth if you have had an amazing college time

Any student who not only wants to become a successful engineer but a professional in his/her stream should join PIET to get amazing opportunities and best results

Before even joining this college I tallied many course curriculum of various colleges but PIET had the correct mixing of theory and practical classes. While searching I found that many subjects which are of importance are all included in the syllabus here. Inclusion of Many subjects like Energy Science, Fundamentals of management, Industrial Engineering makes sure students become not an engineer but a professional.

Placements are very easy to get in our college considering throughout the final years top notch companies come and recruit a lot of students. Some companies also come to provide internships to 3rd-year students. I was fortunate enough to get selected for an international internship program through which I went to Teesside University in Middles Brough UK.

Many events like Annual cultural and technical fest “MAESTROS”..Freshers and various programs on Independence Day, Teachers Day, Engineer’s Day, Children’s Day are celebrated with lots of enthusiasm and support from teachers. Department wise Technical events also take place like Mechanical Department’s Engine Overhauling “STROKE”.

The fee structure for Mechanical Engineering: 62,000( For 1st Sem) and 35,000(For 2nd Sem). Being a day boarder I have opted for bus services: Annual Fees for AC Bus = 42,000. For better understanding, anyone can go to the college website and can acquire the college’s contact number.

I never opted for any education loan because the fee amount is quite frankly very less and can be afforded by anyone.

Everyday advancement takes place in my college new clubs are made on students demand recently after a vote among students done by the college Dean Robotics club was made. The gender ratio is fairly equal in our college and girls are treated with alit of respect and dignity.

Seniors are very nice, from the very first day we were treated like younger siblings and to this day they keep us involved in their projects and events that have helped us to carry forward their legacy.

I came to know about this college through an education fair conducted in Pragati Maidan in New Delhi where I met a few staff and was asked to visit the college for a better understanding. This proved how legit everything was and also I was made sure that I was making the right decision when all the admission procedure was so easy and handled very nicely by the staff

My faculty has been my strength over these years starting from Head of Department Dr. Sunill Dhull to teachers there are so many who influenced my life in a positive way. Even the labs incharge and technicians are all very supportive and helpful. HOD sir makes sure we are up to date in every aspect and treats us like his own. Proud to say being a girl I have been treated very kindly and always kept at a priority.
