College experience

DUK Curriculam provides Course in Cyber Security, blockchain & quantum computing which makes me to choose the course. This course provies good understanding if your focus is research. The course needs to more lab based, the teaching method is theoritical here. Usually 2 mid exam, 4 assignment for formative evaluation & 1 end exam for summative evaluation. Exams are easy to pass but little hectic.

Placement opportunities are not much available from college. MTech students will start getting opportunity from 2nd semester & MSc students in 3th sem. Around 8-9 companies visit. Highest package was 8 LPA for last year, average was 4 LPA, only 30-40 % of students are getting on-campus.

Annual festivals celebrated here are Freshers Day, University Day, Ethnic Day. Technical Festival SmartIndia Hackathon. Books collections are enough & organised at library, you can get e-books if didn't find any hard copy. You can avail university subscription for Journels.

Hostel facilities includes 2 seater room, washing machines, RO, WiFi, mess facility. Overall hostel is very good. Meal is fine, provides north indian & south indian dishes but high fees for mess ?5200 per month, food quality doesn't match the fees. Outside PGs you can rent for very less price.

I was looking for Cyber Security course & this college was offering that why i choosed this college. Admission process is quite simple. Initially you have to pay 10000 to accept your seat attlotment online. After that you will get joining letter with date, final admission confirmation will be after document verification at college fees. Remaining semester fees you can pay within 15 days after joining date.

Available faculties are good, approachable & knowledgeable here. Exams are divided into formative & summative, formative evaluation is entirely depands on faculty. But its easy to pass the subjects but the course designed provides basic knowledge only, you have to put lots of effort to get master level knowledge.
