Course Curriculum Overview

My college has a well-developed curriculum for every course. For my course they have labs, supercomputers, trained faculty members etc making you job-ready. They have every resource that a student should use to get into the job.

Class Size: 87Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

It provides good internship opportunities to all branches, there are various companies that take part like Wipro, tcs etc providing numerous intership opportunities. You have to do big projects in order to grab opportunities.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good in my college having an average of 17.5 lakhs in year 2024 in CSE course. Other branches also have good placements opportunities like ECE course have 16 lakhs average in year 2024

Fees and Financial Aid

My year-wise fees is 5 lakhs which accounts for 20lakhs in total for 4 years in which tuition fees is 16 lakhs and the remaining 4 lakhs is hostel and mess fees for 4 year. Caution money is 90 thousand and mess caution mobey is 5000.

Campus Life

Overall experience is quite good. it has various things to explore and do like sports grounds, clubs, and departments in well-maintained condition. If you have an interest in some activity this is one of the best places to do.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is not much good, it's quite decent, it has double accomodation small rooms and the mess food is also not much good it's decent, like quality is good but have rich flavours , it's registration process is simple and quick we don't have to hustle.

Admission

I choose this college because it is in my neighbourhood and is the best college in my state, it also provide better job opportunities having good packages. Compared to other colleges it have good alumini network.

Faculty

There is a huge gap in faculty to student ratio but faculty members are good and are easily approachable when needed. I like DOSA faculty quite much as they are concerned for students and their welfare.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

At BIT Mesra for our departments many cpre companies like Tatva Chintan, Laxmi Organics and Kanoria Chemicals were among some listed companies that came for placements. I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
