Evaluating Excellence: A Comprehensive review of Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur, Rewari

The course curriculum in MSC Zoo in igu contains biochemistry, biotechnology, invertebrata, cell biology, biostatistics, and mentor-mentee meetings along with different seminars. Its good as it gives overall development in the field of zoology. Teaching methods are also good which include smart classes, labs, practicals, assignments, and presentations. All classes are held every day. Teachers are present regularly and For further academic pursuits, doing msc in igu is a good idea. The timing of exams is after every 6 months generally and regular tests, competitions, and quizzes are organized. However, for a student a break should be there between various lectures but it is not there. All classes are held after every 1 hour which doesn't give free time to students.

The Campus is good. Moreover the classes are well equipped with AC and are spacious. The fees I'm giving is 12600 for first year msc zoology course. I'm a general category student that means it's not that much. Moreover, the facilities are great and teachers are super- helpful. Hostel facility is also available and canteen - mess is also good. Various seminars, competitions and quizzes are organised in a simultaneous way. And the teacher-student interaction are also good. Almost every classes has smart classes, AC and fans. The university management is super helpful and cool with the students. Almost every buildings, guards are there. Library is perfect. All category books are available there. Seminar classes happen on a regular basis. Chairperson, vice-chairperson and every other staff are regularly seen and they are polite with everyone.

Annual festivals are organized there at a regular basis. Igu fests occur during the month of November. Several other colleges associated with IGU take part in the fests organized here and for every occasion, events are organized. Books and journals are available for each and every branch. All books related to a particular branch are kept in a single line and others are in other line and in a systematic way. Books can be easily taken as it all requires a library pass to get it. Classroom, whole branch is well equipped with air conditioners and fans. Each and every floor has basic facilities like washrooms, and water coolers. Notice board is well Systemized and ID cards are given to each and every student. Sports and activities occur on a good basis as during fests several sports event occur such as cricket, athletics and football. University team for all sport is also there. Blood donation programme happen on a regular basis.

In Igu, Meerpur the admission process for masters is simple. An entrance test is organized and students are selected on the basis of their scores. Merit lists are given and everyone can take admission from there. You just have to go for physical counseling and their teachers and faculty members help the student to enroll into their favorite streams. You just have to submit the fees and your admission is done. Certain documents are required basically. And thats all. I did not apply to any other colleges because all others are far away from my home and igu is nearby so thats why I can't debate on the other colleges. But as far as I have seen IGU its good overall.

Faculty to student ratio is approximately 2:30. They are very approachable. Students can literally ask anything about their studies to them and they help each and everyone. Jokes are cracked among them. They are super polite, super-calm and super- helpful. Faculties are young and energetic. Some senior members are also there which are older but they are also calm and extra helpful. In Masters in zoology, Theoretical exam is of 70 Marks and practical one is 30. Seminars attendance is mandatory for everyone. Research papers, presentations are also there including 50 marks. Students generally not fail if they are studying. Approximately all students clear their exams. Couse curriculum is very relevant as it contains everything to make a student knowledgeable, intellectual. Seniors are super super approachable and junior- senior relationship is so so good.
