My experience in Mizoram University

I found no difficulties in my subjects, as i am into it and gaves my all into the course. The exam time is 10 am to 1 pm. and in that timing also no difficulties could be found as we answer only four 20 marks question in each papers

There are several appointment of internship for other department. But in our department, we doesnt have internship in the whole courses as field work, group projects and area studying is more necessary

In Mizoram University, The course fees may be different in particular courses. For my subject, M.sc Geography, fee structure in each semester is not same as the fees was 8000 in the first semester, 4250 in 2nd semester, 7570 in 3rd semester and 6150 in the 4th Semester. The admission fee for the 1st Semester was 300 and the course fee was1260,library 2200, sport fee 350, practical fee 220, lab fee 1260, and exam fee 750. Fee structure is different in Earth Science comparing to Social Scial and the fees can be much higher as there are a lot of field works , practical and laboratory works to do. The socholarship for schedule tribes is available to apply in Mizoram University. The amount is 18000 for day students and 22000 for hosteller.

The University campus gaves a free environment and apart from study, it enables us to interact with the nature as the University is much distant and apart from the city life. Even in night time, The campus is safe and sound for every man and woman to roam around.

The hostel life is one of the best things that you can experiences in this university. But as i reviewed before, the mess quality needs to be a bit improves. But as there is only plenty seats for the hostel. It was the best moment that i could qualify for the hostel.

Mizoram University is the best University for general students and is also the highest Institutions inside the State of Mizoram. Also there are many student across the states and also even foreigners apply in this University.

The relationship over the students and the faculties, staffs and the professors is positives. Sometimes we, the students even use to visits to their(professors) home for free time interaction and tea time.
