Likes

Campus life of iit is excellent. The life of hostel will be as expected. Padhai thori kaam hogi pr maaja poora ayega.
The quality of food is great. You can get bored but you can't question the quality.

Dislikes

Wifi speed need to be improved except this everything is top nodge.

Course Curriculum Overview

There was nothing specific I choosed the course because I have prior interest in it and moreover I was getting this branch only. The practicals that are conducted weekly prepare us for real world implementation. There is no improvement required.

It would be exciting and thrilling to experience the college life of iit. Food are decent and professor are good. Category wise for general and obc ghe fee structure is same.

Campus Life

The annual fest in srijan and the technical fest is conceto. The books and journals are easily accessible from liberary. The central Library of iit ism dhanbad is Asia's biggest library. The classroom are decent. Our college offer every type of sports and cultural clubs if you are interested you can join them and excel in it.

Admission

The college that I was getting were iit roorkee civil, iit bhilai electrical, aand many mechanical and civil in top iits but choose iit dhanbad because of the branch I was getting and the nirf ranking of the college and placement stacs also influenced me

Faculty

Faculty members are decent and very approachable. We can connect to them through emails very easily. Almost all professor are god but to me personally I liked the maths professor. Exams are not so difficult if you study and it's according to the course curriculum.

And ngative remarks of our college have lack of facilities like our college building are old required of new construction,lack of electricity,lack of fan,ac is not availsble in this collge,management are not good of this collge,building structure are not good of this collge,lack of purify filter water.

When you get admission in Govt.Engineering college.

Remarks:

The college should improve its status. The course curriculum is quite outdated, we are still busy in C and C++. No one is focusing on emerging programming languages like Python. The exam structure is quite simple. First we have mid semester exams of 30 marks then there comes the semester exams. The semester exam question paper consist of 8 questions in which we have to answer any 5. We people are not getting the knowledge. we are just passing the exams.

Remarks:

My overall experience in this college has been quite moderate till date. One of the biggest problems one will face is that the library, computer centre and the student activity centre are not operational 24/7 till date, Another problem is never ending construction work is quite nagging and the continuous motion of the heavy vehicles due to that construction throughout the campus makes the campus appear more or less like an under-construction site than a college. Good college, Equipped with moderate infrastructure, which is in a state of progress. Placements are good. Opportunities are available in different fields but you will have to grasp them without procrastination.

The admission process is very simple as it is completely controlled by JOSAA and everything is done virtually. At the time of admission, physical registration is done and hostel is allotted at the same time and we can shift the same day. Admission process is very smooth. The eligibility to get into IIT Dhanbad is to qualify JEE Advanced with under 20k AIR. For my branch specifically, the cutoff is around 6k for general category.
