Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is based on ‘outcome-based learning’ which is very much effective for our course curriculum and is oriented towards industry requirements. The laboratory works, final year project and vocational training make us industry ready. The exam structure explores the requirement of the industries and also gives us an in-depth understanding of the requirement in the industry.

College Events

We have several events happening throughout the year wherein we get a chance to meet industry stalwarts as well as seniors academicians from reputed institutes like IIT, NIT, Calcutta University, Jadavpur University, CMERI, IE(I), etc. We are having ECE students chapter of The Institution of Engineers(India)and that's why we seminars in every semester organized by IE(I) and our ECE department. Apart from these, we celebrate freshers welcome, farewell, Independence day, Republic day, Diwali, Viswakarma Puja, Saraswati Puja, Tech. fest, annual fest, Alumni meet, armor ekushe(21st Feb.) and many more.

Campus Life

We have a sprawling campus with all the modern amenities which are housed within greeneries .we also have gymnasium and recreation facilities beside the library, and refreshment facilities giving us a balanced academic and personal life. Students are then judged according to the models and are awarded. Science Model Exhibition - the various science models which are good and awarded are displayed to encourage other students to do the same. Students from other colleges are also made to attend the events. Tech Fest - Festival of technical events like Robotics, Circuit Design, Gaming, Coding, Debugging. Cultural Fest. Campus life comprises of gaming including football, cricket, basketball, volleyball. Every year, we have a national sports championship. Campus life also includes extracurricular activities under Tech Fest, Cultural Fest. Dance Club, Music Club, and we enjoy club activities and we initiative take part in club activities that are very active. Robotics is one of the strongest over here. Faculty members are good and friendly and they also motivate us to take part in those competitions and also guide us to making some innovative projects. Faculty members help in doing project works and Management regularly interacts with faculty members to imbibe the sense of belonging.

Admission

At first, I had gone to some other Institute of Bhubaneshwar I was not happy after getting the review from them. After that, this college came to be known to me from my elder sister. And she told me to visit this college and me along with my parents visited this campus and impressed after talking with faculties and other staffs and I decided to take the direct admission here on the month of July 2016.

Faculty

I got a good impression of the college after talking with faculty members in the first visit. They are very much helpful and always make ready to help beyond regular class hours. Even they mentor our personal problems as well. The faculty also help us in personal development and grooms us in soft skills which help us in cracking job interviews.

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Likes

I like my class infustructure and lifts for men and woman
I like our faculties who are worried about our future

I dislike my colleges management system process
I dislike my colleges Transport facilities
I dislike some members whose behavior is rude

I rate my college course curriculum is so good see them i will take admission in this college and the faculties teaching methods are good exam time will fix by exam board and they always think about students comfort.

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is good.I would consider the college as very clean.
The campus life is pretty good but there are strict instructions to freshers to not roam in the campus.

Dislikes

I disliked the condition of the bathroom and the corridor on the first day.
My hostel room was very filthy.The workers charges ₹100 for cleaning it

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

Its our lovely college TIU

Likes

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Likes

One of the best things about my college is all the classrooms and labs are fully air conditioned. The classrooms, labs and even the toilets are cleaned regularly, which really helps to create a comfortable learning environment.
All the clubs of the college remain active all the time no matter whether it's technical clubs or fest related clubs like fun events domain, etc.
The most important thing is that the college is entirely ragging -free. College also maintains a healthy girls to boys ratio.

Dislikes

The classrooms are quite compact compared to the number of students in each class . At times it feels overcrowded and a bit uncomfortable during lectures.
Some of the faculty members are relatively inexperienced. It often feels like they don't have full command over the subject they're teaching, which can affect the overall understanding of important concepts.
Another issue I've noticed is the irregularity in certain subject classes. Not all subjects are taught consistently every semester , and there are high chances of some classes getting missed or not scheduled properly.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit for placements form 7 th semester that is from the beginning of final year. Usually the service based companies come here with cgpa criteria and offer jobs to students.

Likes

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Placement Experience:

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The college campus is very big and beautiful.
The cultural fests and annual fest is also great.
The ganga ghat is really close from the college.

Dislikes

The faculty is bullshit .some profs are ok,but some are horrible.
The college hostels accommodation is really bad
The ratio of girls to boys is very poor.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okay and companies like google, Microsoft, Capgemini ,Tata,Mahindra also comes during placement.The off campus placement record is also fantastic.The were scenarios in the past years where few students got packages like 50-70 lpa.
