This course is one way of helping the society in a best way MBBS is not only a degree but also a responsibility of society To take of society and keep them healthy I suggest that in this curriculum more and more 3d study can help students to learn by practically knowing each body parts

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year I wise I have to pay 71000 to college and 20800 to hostel. In 71000, 11000 I pay to college as admission fee,lab fees, caution fees, tuition fees My category is 2b so I pay 60100 to kea govt every year There is ssp scholarship for the students

Campus Life

We have annually a great festival called aurelion which includes games quiz dance singing Library is still in development and the work is in progress We have inter college sports competition organised by rguhs

Admission

I applied for this college as it has best teachers and is in a city with more expose to technologies in treatment with best doctors to be guiding I applied bmc also which I couldn't make it to due to cut off marks To get the admission in my college one should have good marks like above 15k rank in neet

Faculty

There are groups divided of 10 students each with a mentor for each group This helps in interaction of students to teacher personally There are three subjects with two exam for each subject overall we have 6 exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have internals once in around 3 months and we have yearly final exams. The average of the three internals is added to the final marks to declare the results. The exams are of average difficulty. Not too difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.

Life of a medico in a government college in Bangalore

I chose this college because this is one of the top in Karnataka right now. I had applied to over 50 other colleges, and this was my third choice of the college. First choice being Bangalore medical College, second choice being Mysore Medical, College and third choice being this one, I couldn't get the other two because of my ranking, I secured an AIR of 13,000. Apart from these two colleges, I had got a confirmed seat in all the other colleges, including reputed Kiims in Hubli. But I chose this college because of the hospital. It is associated with Bowring and lady Curzon Hospital which is over 150 years old and the patient load is very high. The professors there are highly experienced and renowned. It is one of the most respected and prestigious hospitals in Bangalore and in Karnataka , where you get wide range of cases from all over the country. The admission process is through neat UG and then through KEA counselling, Karnataka counselling. based on your performance in Neet UG, which is an entrance examination held throughout the nation. You are allotted a rank and then you have to enter your options of various different medical colleges and based on your rank, you will be allotted one college. My review about bowring medical college.

You have to pass the 12th and then write the NEET exam to qualify for the MBBS course. The cut-off for my college is around AIR 9000 this year. You have to go through the kea admission process to get a seat in this college or through the India quota. The fees for college are 71000 for the first year and 54000 thereafter.
