Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well , i would rate the course curriculum an 8 on a scale of 1-10 because of its relevance and comprehensive in the current world. The thing that influenced my decision was, this was the only University in our state which was producing students for different kinds of exams.

Internships Opportunities

3

In the MBA Dept at Nagaland University, the go for internships at different places depending on their major, such as Finance, HR etc. Some of the Companies that offers job placements are Nestle, HDFC etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Each semester in our course we had to pay around 7000 rs including Hostel and University admission. Hostel monthly fee/Mess fee varies from hostel to hostel, it ranges from 1.5k - 1.8k per month. Yes we do receive scholarship, Nagaland Scholarship. The scholarship also varies for different each year. For the First years In masters level Merit, we receive around 21000 and Post matric around 17000

Campus Life

5

My overall experience on the Campus, Since i am a social person and well as an extrovert, i had lots of fun in campus amd also participated in a lot of events. Some of the annual festivals, Cultural and literary day, Sports week, winter fest etc. Every class had a projector for more interactive learning.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility is top notch, with Wi-Fi and we'll as play grounds. The meals in the hostel was not that bad comparing to the other hostels of different colleges. The registration process is done by the wardens.

Admission

No i did not apply to other colleges, however i had registered for CUET but i did not appear for the Exam because i already go selected at Nagaland University. The admission process in our Dept, we had to appear and entrance test, and the students who made it through the entrance test round, had to appear for and interview before the faculties of the Dept, and out of more than 200 students in my year, 55 of us was selected. The overall exam experience was nerve wrecking ans well as satisfying if we made it.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio at Nagaland university is generally favorable, given its relatively smaller size compared to larger institutions. This allows for more Personalized attention and support. However the exact ratio can vary from Department to Department. The exams also vary from Dept to Dept, in my dept we had three test for each paper for our internal marks and an exam at the end of each semester.

I chose the course myself but for the real world applications i have still more to learn and prepare for the competitive exam . The area i need to improve will be on practical and it will be better if the teacher explain it in a simple term so that we can understand it more easily the timing of exams are ser according to the period.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I was a political student from class 12 it wasn't very hard for me to take this course to the masters level. Political is the study of the present scenario in this modern world so this paper gives us all the ideas about how the judicial, executive, and legislative of a country works and how it influences we as common people The exam duration is 3 hour which is quite good with regards to other colleges
