Dislikes
- The placement criteria is what i feel needs an improvement since you cannot compleyely rely on the college authorities. The student has to be exceptional in order to avail the placement benefits.
- The modern culture of smoking and drugs is a sad reality of UPES.
- There needs to be a senior junior induction programme to recognize the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is deeply engrossed to cover all concepts and all provisions of law. It covers the criteria for mid sem marking and internals. It contains important links for clarity and books for reference. The material provided makes you prepared for real world applications of concepts. That leaves no areas for improvement honestly. The timing of exams is set to student friendly approach and there is no difficulty for students who study sincerely.
Internships Opportunities
Some of the companies which came to our University are Hero Future Energies Pvt ltd, TATA, Vikram Solar Ltd, Maheshwari and Co, Sterlite Power and many more. The roles being offered were that of Research advocate, Trainee associate
Placement Experience
Well on that aspect, its sad that the placement is not accustomed to the needs of students. Students need to be an exception in case they want placements and had to be great research scholars. You need to be an expert incase you need placement from the University.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure for Masters course yearly is approximately 3 lakhs. If you are an alumni you will get around fifty percent discount. There is an eligibility of scholarship if you score around 85 percent.
Campus Life
The fests are organized every year namely Urja, sports and the books are all available at library. We have the e books facility as well. All the committees in UPES are student run committees. The tech is installed as per student requirenents.
Admission
I applied to various other Universities like Symbi, ICFAI, Nirma and I believe i am studying in one of the best private college Universities since it has facilties which are best suited to my needs and preparation.
Faculty
Its great that faculties in UPES are approachable. They guide you at every step and are willing to help you. Some of the faculties i admired were Ms. Ishita Sharma, Mr. Deepesh Kumar, Ms. Nandini Biswas, Dr. Udai Pratap Singh, Mr. Ajay Kumar, Ms. Aishwarya Vatsa and many more for their thorough knowledge and teaching methods.
Interview Experience
Yes, there is an entrance test conducted by UPES on the basis of which u get selected for further process . It contains questions related to all law subjects and mostly the questions are application based.
