Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed very well to cover in depth knowledge of accounting and finance. Little more practical oriented approach can be a good choice to improve the overall course and comprehensiveness

Internships Opportunities

SBI pension fund , Mutual funds , BSE. These are few companies who gives internship opportunities to the students. Also part time internships are available for students. overall the internships are provided to all year students.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is held every year. And also there is a separate whatsapp group for the students in which the internship and placement opportunities are posted regularly. The students gets benefit from this

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid year wise around 23000 for the course. There are few scholarship modes from which you can avail scholarship. Also the somaiya trust helps in fees payment for the students who availed the scholarship.

Campus Life

The Campus life is very well and helps to improve overall personalities of the student. The interaction is good. Overall the experience is very good. I would surely suggest to get admission in the college for the campus

Admission

I choose this college because of exposure they give after the completion of the course and also overall demand in the respective field. Admission process is very smooth and well organized. It is not complicated.

Faculty

The teaching quality is excellent of the faculty members. Deepak Chavan Sir is one of the sir who is well known for teaching accounting and finance. 2 semesters each year. And exams are of moderate level.

I applied to KJ and Rizvi as well and got confirmation from Rizvi, but after comparing it with SK Somaiya in aspects such as sports and curriculam, SK Somaiya was the best fit for me. I did get rejected in KJ Somaiya because of my marks in 10th, KJ is known to have the highest cut-offs. The admission process is centralised and is done on the basis of merit and seat available. So basically I wanted to join somaiya Vidyavihar only it was a dream college for me and the process was like we have to apply or registered online on their portal then you all have to wait for the merit list if your name is there they then you will get a mail for the admission process where you will get an so my as mail id which is for educational purpose or any details or any information about the college or about the campus the svv net ID portal which will be provided in the mail from there you have to fill the form and you have to pay the fees online offline is not allowed like everything you have to pay online and after that when you will go to the college you have to collect your ID's before that you have to take appointment in that portal only in the ID Card section and then you will get an ID from the college campus...Read More
