The honest talk

I just don't know much about this course ,untill I enrolled in it and get to know about it. My main motive to join this course for getting into the technical field and make something out of this field. Since now I came into second year, from now onwards the core subjects of computer science are started so I will get to know about them in this semester. Apart from that , since the 1 year was same for all the departments as well and their were 90% of subjects that doesn't have any thing related to my field . The teaching should be improved in the college, as most of the students are indisciplined and doesn't obey the teachers. Sk strict actions should be taken by the faculty members. And also teachers should make students learn. The topic in an interactive and intersting way. The mid term examination is of 1 hour duration with a medium level and the end semester exam is of 3 hours with sometimes a high difficulty level and sometimes a low medium level

Honestly, not much companies offer internships the college. We from ourselves only have to find internship through the online surfing and paying to get enrolled in the internships. Projects are made in the college, but no one cares about the betterment of the project. All the project stuff is done by thr students to improve their resume.

The students get eligible in 4 th year for sitting for the placement as in any other college. There are different companies that come in college like TCS,Infosys etc and many other companies, that make good offers for some students. The highest package that a student has got is of 36 lakh and the average package of college is of 4-5 lakh. The percentage of students getting placements are 20-25 %. My plans are to get into the it field and grow myself by working in different areas after getting the degree.

The yearly that has to be paid in my batch is ?170000, which is deposited in two parts that is ?80,000 in each semester. So the whole fees of the year is given in the gap of 6 months. Taking about the admission process, there is registration fees of ?1000 and the admission fees is ?5000 that is given along with the registration fees. The development fees , the lab fees and all other charges come under tution fees only that is ?170000. The fees of my batchmates are also same as mine, only some has a difference of 4-5 thousand after relaxation. No scholarships are provided for students, or any type of aid. But , there are prices given by the college for scoring good marks in the department.

The overall campus is good, there are 2 canteens in the college campus, a good ground and greenery. There are different festivals in the college named - freshers, deepSandhya , foundation day, Zion, expressions etc in the month of August, September November and April. Their I good collection of important books in the library, that is merely good, but not as good for getting help in the examinations. The facilities and technology in the classrooms are not good . Some classes have smartboard , while some classes don't have even proper ventilation. The sports activities are not so much prominent in the college, as college doesn't give much importance to the sports expenses. Students get help in their personal development areas and also in their skills, as they take lart in the college commitee

I jus don't want to do the college only. I was preparing for my NDA examination and went to dehradun since it was my last attempt. So when I couldn't make it and came to my city roorkeee. I just take admission in this college as it was nearby in my town, because my parents doesn't allow me to out of station again . I just don't applied in any other colleges as many of my known people were in the college and they know about all other colleges, and this was the only good college in my hometown. In admission process, your just have to give money and yohr seat will be reserved. Their is no test or any other formalities for taking admission in the university.

The faculty and the student ratio is good in some areas but majorly the facilities couldn't be able to communicate or Focus on large amount of students due to the lengthy batches. There are some faculties that were really good, like kamal Kapoor sir, rakhi bhardwaj ma'am, Mohit Gupta sir, sumaiya Praveen Ma'am because they teach in a very disciplined and very intersting way that make students understand the topic Apart, there were some faculties like kavita ma'am, Anita Singh ma'am that do not Focus primarily on the students , their main motive was to just complete the syllabus, whether the topic is cleared or not . There are 2 exams that are held in a particular semester. There is one mid term and one final semester end exam. There are many students that get failed in examination, due to lack of understanding and carelessness.
