Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is really good but it would be better if some coding languages also include into curriculum.It is helpful and prepares us for real world applications.There are 2 mids and 1 semester exam for one semester

Placement Experience

Since 2 years placements in our college were not good.The average package is around 6 LPA.Only 35% of students were placed in different companies which are related to ECE department like Unistring,Astra,ICS Global

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee for our batch is 35000.Hostel fee is nearly 20000 per year.TSEPASS scholarship is available for students which provides tution fee and as well as mess fee .The mess fee amount provided by this scholarship is nearly 10000 for BC students

Campus Life

Technical Fest called Aakruthi is organised by ECE department for every year.In technical fest we will have an opportunity to explore and also participate in any events like paper presentation etc,EC and IETE are two clubs in ECE department

Hostel Facilities

Hostel food is somewhat better. Other facilities like water, electricity are good. Hostel facilities in our campus are good.Student should register in portal and also submit the required documents for Hostel admission

Admission

As University College of Engineering Osmania University is one of the prestigious and oldest college I was very interested to join in this college.Therefore I wrote ECET exam after Diploma in ECE and got good marks.

Faculty

Faculty in our department are well knowledgeable .They put all their efforts to teach us and encourage us to achieve our goal.There are 2 mids and one semester exam that is final exam for every Semester .Approximately only 20% of students fail to clear the exams .

Feels chained but somewhat alright

Course Curriculum Overview:

Artificial intelligence, seems like a no brainer after the boom in the industry. Everyone in the college as in the faculty and management are actually very supportive. The curriculum is designed pretty good with a hands on experience. The examinations are a way too much but that's just for this year as they have started the academic year a month late and are trying to finish the same time as every other college. The mid internals are easy to moderate.

Review about Osmania

I choose this college because it's one of the best in state and the course intersted me very much . I applied for other college like cbit vit.i didn't choose cbit because one of the experience I had with the college. One time we are at the office for the b category seat counseling. We had to wait for our turn to meet the college heads , around afternoon it started raining I plus around 200 students and their families had to wait in the rain for the college to open their gate. Many women are also present in the rain for around an hour . I covered my certificate file under my shirt so that it can't get wet . After this horrible experience I decided to choose osmania as it not over crowded and offers better experience for me ....Read More
