Honest Review of COER by a third year student!

course curriculum is completely outdated with respec to today's world.they still teaches mechanical and electrical subjects to us in first year which have no relevenace for cs students. exams are made very tough and sometimes out of syllabus things come in exam

I have taken hostel so my fee structure include both academic(tution) fees and hostel fees. Academic fees is 1,50,000 Hostel Fees is 1.20,000 and in first year they took 10,000 as security fees and 10,000 as uniform fees academic fees includes all the fees of tution fees and hostel fees include fees of living in hostel,mess fees and laundry fees including.

overall experience at campus is decent. there is one cultural fest which is held in march/april which is zion which includes bhangra night and such things dance and siniging programs star night in which a star comes and perform . there is one tech fest also which takes place in october/november library is decent.there are many groups/clubs like disha the technical committee , linguistic committee ,dance groups like edc,zenith,etc and one ngo also praharsh.but there is no good learning in these clubs.

yes there is hostel facility in college itself.for boys there are 4 hostels and for girls there are 2 hostels.both ac and non ac rooms are available.we can also take single/double room. i am staying in single non ac room. in first year my hostel fees was 90,000 but next year they increased it to 1,20,000 despite saying in first year that fees will not be increased.hypocrisy!! mess food is very bad .taste is very bad . some days food is good otherwise very bad.also items like samosa ,bread pakoda are also given only 1. there are also frequent power cuts in hostel which is annoying also outgoing time is only till 7:30 pm for hostel students .

admission process id very simple just come to college and go in admission block they will provide you everything from application form to all the necessary stuff required.I think document s required you r10th and 12th marksheet your tc and cc ,aadhar card ,etc.

faculty to sudent ration is not good in our college .our class has 60 students and one teacher. some faculty are good and have good knowledge about their subject and teaches very well some are even phds from iits.but these are only few.a majority of faculties are not that much qualified very bad teaching methodology and we didn't understand what they teach.
