The Curriculum of College Of engineering Roorkee is very old. College has to change their curriculum. College curriculum did't prepare us for real - eorld applications or further academic pursits. College exam level is not so hard.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Placement Experience

In College of Engineering Roorkee Placement session is start from 7th semester. You have to submit 1000 rupees for sitting in campus placement it is compulsory. In Btech. Placement percent is 10% it is very very low in tech company. College shows 95% pacement records but is fake.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees of College Of Engineering Roorkee is 1,76,650 in which 1,41,250 is Tution fees, 11,000 is One Time Fees, 20,000 is Annual Academic Service Fee, 4,400 is Exam fees. In College Of Engineering Roorkee[COER] there are many scholarship for Uttarakhand domicile, SC, ST, OBC and Merit based scholarship. In College Of Engineering Roorkee Fees is increasing it is not fixed for complete year. Other Branches have less fees as compare to Bachelors Of Technology

Campus Life

Overall Experience is average. There are many event and fest conducted in college campus bot cultural and technincal and sports event. students can participate in any event. Infrastructre is not good there are not proper working copmuter labs.

Admission

Admission in College Of Engineering is very easy. There is eligiblity criteria for admiission it is 70% in 12th, but at the end everyone get admission just submit your fees and its done.In College Of engineering Roorkee particular staff is available at the time of admission they guide you for complete process.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1-60 or in someclasses it may 1-80. It is difficult to handle all student by one faculty. Although there teaching method is very good and understandable all student get clear knowledge what they thought in classes.

Campus placements starts here from the final year only as before that intenrships and workshops and trainings take it's toll. So, once they starts, every other week we have some or the other companies visiting here and not just that, they also don't go empty hand.

Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . Real world applications are there as we have learn alot of knowledge in our first year about that like communication skills , public speaking , webinar and seminar etc. improvement is only needed in the good infrastructure and much more advanced technology should be there to deal with . The timings are of 3hrs in the semester exams and in the sessional it is of 1 hrs . Difficulty level is moderate .

in our college placement is good unless you have Backlogs,less then 75% attendence and the training fee if you dont join the the training fee then you are not allowed to join the placement interviews. those who dont get placement they try off campus for the placement but according to me employbility rate just 6-7 out of 10
