Remarks

Good is about the canteen and auditorium. Bad is about lack of gaming area.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Mumbai University is very bad in this case because there is a lot of assignments requirements and other things. Even the subjects and practicals are not up to date and it becomes very difficult to understand what we learn in class and what we actually see in practical ongoing sites.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are not so good in this college and you cannot hope to end up in a big MNC's. But if you are knowledgeable and have that character to crack the interview then you can.

College Events

3.5

Events are taking place in huge amount in the college and their frequency has been increased now. Big events attracting some big names are taking places and college is gaining its fame. RFP is one of the biggest events of this college and Nakshatra is also a good event for students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for every year is 89000 for general category and after that, you have to pay an additional 5000 for stationary in which you will get pages and sheets. Also, it includes bus fees. It doesn't matter whether you travel from the bus or not you still have to pay.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not applied for any kind of scholarship as I am not eligible for it. On top of that, I am in the general category with annual income more than 6 lakh so no option available.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is sometimes very boring and sometimes interesting. The interesting part is because of the crowd and events but the majority of the time you will feel a bit bored. If you are involved in some kind of groups like ROTARACT or NSS then congratulations you will have a good time.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are pretty helpful. They are very supportive and provide a lot of help. You will feel blessed to have them.

Admission

Admission in our time was through CET exam or JEE exam marks. The admission was done via CET exam and DTE process was considered. First, we had to place a list of college which want to be a part of and then according to your marks and college availability, you will be allowed the topmost available college according to your list.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is very good, informative and supportive. They are very knowledgeable and help you anytime. Some faculty are not so good to students and they do not teach well but the action is taken against them as soon as possible. HOD is very nice and kind enough and will help you anytime.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
