Likes
- The staff of the college is very supportive and polite with the students. They are always ready to guide us whether it's about our education or any another situation of our life.
- The college motivates us to participate in various competitions like Hackathon.
- The practical labs are well managed and clean.
Dislikes
- The canteen of the college is not hygienic. The taste of the food is OK but not that much great.
- The library is very small if we look it as an engineering college. Also, they don't use ACs in the library even in the very hot.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good. I like the curriculum as the subjects in the curriculum are the ones which I love to study and helpful for my career. However, in my opinion, the course curriculum should get updated every year as the subject of our course are getting updated day-to-day in the daily life.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are very limited. The students with high percentage are preferred for these opportunities. So, the internship is a problem with the college in my opinion. There shoud be more opportunities for internship as it is also very hard to find outside opportunities. The outside opportunities can sometimes be scam. So, I am not that satisfied with the internship from college.
Placement Experience
The college provides the placement to the students. Although the package is not high enough but what we get is experience. The college arrange many crash courses for the final year students like Aptitude, Coding, etc. These courses helped many students to clear their interviews and get in good companies. The companies which come to college are TCS, Mahindra, Jio, and many small companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
So overall college fees is ?91915 per year(as of my batch who admitted in 2022). Besides this, the stationary fees is ?1300-2000 varying according to departments and Transportation fee is ?5200 per year. The above fees is for the General category. For OBC,it's ?61000 and for SC/ST,it's ?15000. Our college provides us with the scholarship from the Maharashtra Government [MahaDBT] which lowers our fees to ?52000.
Campus Life
My overall experience with the college is good. I enjoy going there and study as these subjects are my love. I did not have much interest in other activities like sports, cultural events, clubs, etc. The classroom, labs, library and canteen are my most frequent places to explore in the collge.
Admission
For getting admission in Engineering colleges, we need to crack the entrance exam. I gave MHT-CET entrance exam and got 78%ile in the same. This college was not my first preference but as my percentile is low, I got this college. Comparing to other colleges I know, it's not that great but it's a good college if we put some extra efforts on our studies.
Faculty
The faculty is the best thing of the college. Whole staff is very supportive and helpful towards the students. They guide us at every point we needed them. There is no liking or disliking for the teachers as all of them are very supportive. They set papers keeping in mind about the final examination. They provide us with important questions which quitely help us to pass in the semester.
Interview Experience
I got admission by giving MHT-CET exam in which I secured 78 percentile. This was the only entrance exam I gave and I got admission in this college. Only a good score is needed to get admitted in a good college.
Night Life
I have not done any camp or night time work in my college. So I don't have any idea about the same. But some students who are in some clubs do have done it and according to them that was the best experience.
