Likes

Location of college into the mountains special in monsoon
Canteen is specious and happening and staff is also good
Gym is also there but mostly out of use can work on it lettel bit

Dislikes

The club house where we supposed to play don have any thing to play with it's just empty hall
They don't have their own ground we have to hire ground at karnala on sports day
Some faculties are good but the non teaching staff is bullshit

I have chosen cse(ds) which is computer science in data science which is most likely the computer science course till now it's going pretty well. The faculties are supportive and helps poor students to do something

Fees and Financial Aid

Mostly I do scholarships so there is vo much going in collocation of all the documents and doing for scholarship Rather the donation works more over in my college But it's ok and affordable They pay 2laks per year as a donation

Campus Life

It's going well as iam CR of my class I have to do multitask in daily The thing I struggle with is travelling As I travel from Parel to Kharghar via train it's painful and I feel tired after reaching home

Admission

You have to score more then 50pl percentage in 12th HSC for being applicable for engineering Then by giving MHT-CET Exam we can be applicable for this college Addmission process is pritty much well and decipline

Yess they are well trained but but some of them are average which can be replaced.they are most likely the one who is beginner . Who starts their career here . But some of them are well trained and must appreciate

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A good college for engineering

I had a jee score of 78% and was selected in the third cap round. The admission process was easy. You have to collect the application form at the college. They helped everyone out with the forms and cleared the doubts. The fees varies from course to course obviously. Mine was 97000 for BE (Information Technology) including stationary and excluding transportation. There's reservation criteria for concession in fees. You have to apply for it later when the college starts. Exams are not too tough and prepare you for the sem. Everything else is fine...Read More
